  I spoke to Joan and she was thorough with everything from when we landed from our trip in SA to when we finished the trip in KE. She mostly cared about my little ones which was so heartwarming.   I arrived at Amboseli National Park with the desire to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi and spend a few days in nature. My private safari began with the well-organized Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris. The guide and driver Joseph was very sincere and experienced. On the first day, I saw a huge herd of elephants - that scene is still vivid in my mind. I stayed in a comfortable lodge surrounded by natural surroundings, where there was a great combination of local and western food. Every morning and afternoon, I went on game drives and saw hyenas, leopards, giraffes and colorful birds. One evening, I was suddenly fascinated by the sight of a lion family on the side of the road. The most memorable moment was seeing the golden light of Kilimanjaro while sipping my morning cup of coffee. This three-day safari was like a dream.   An enjoyable day trip from Nairobi We took a day trip of Nairobi National Park, Giraffe centre and Karen Blixen museum from Safarilinks. The communication with Douglas was prompt, transparent and professional. Our driver and guide Titus was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was raining in the morning and we couldn't see lions because of that, we still saw Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, Crocodiles, Antelopes and lots of birds in their natural habitat. We had a nice day trio and would recommend this company to fellow travelers. ...more
