  What an incredible trip. From the very first day everything felt smooth and exciting. The guide was full of knowledge and made every game drive unforgettable. We laughed, shared stories, and spotted so many animals up close. The lodges were comfortable and the meals always tasty. Traveling together as a group added so much fun and energy.   The booking process with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris was smooth and accommodating, even on short notice. Their guide, Ken, arrived early with a safari pop-up vehicle and took guests to the Giraffe Centre, a local market, and Nairobi National Park for a private 5-hour tour. They saw a wide range of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and more. Ken was knowledgeable, respectful of animals, attentive, and helped with photos without being overly talkative. The experience ended with a visit to Carnivore Restaurant.   OMG—this was the coolest trip ever! Huge thanks to Lamara Tourism for organizing the most amazing safari for our family. I still can’t get over how close we got to the wildebeest crossing in Masai Mara—it was intense and beautiful at the same time. I even saw a cheetah sprinting across the plains! Jambo Mara felt like a magical campsite with super comfy beds. Lake Nakuru was all pink with flamingos, and I saw a rhino for the first time—so cool! Our hotel in Nakuru (Woodlands) had great food and Wi-Fi, which was perfect for sharing pics with my friends. Lamara, you totally nailed it! ...more

  Bottom line up front: the best trip EVER. That is a bold statement because I have been to over 50 countries (including 8 African countries). The accommodations, the people, the country, our guide and the animals defied all expectations. To start with Kosen (the owner of the tour company) arranged the trip to be exactly what we asked for. No detail was spared. It was our 30th anniversary and there was a special touch at every stop. More importantly, they sponsor schools in the bush to make sure the kids get a chance for education. They have recued young girls and built dormitories so they can get an education and autonomy. Furthermore, they sponsor soccer teams in the slums of Nairobi for impoverished urban kids and create academic support and tutoring programs to help lift them out of poverty.
