Today after the breakfast you will visit the National Museum (Ta-Dzong), initially the Watch Tower to defend Paro Rinpung Dzong which now offers a unique and varied collection of ancient armor, textiles, antique Thangkas paintings, and natural life. Then visit the Rinpung Dzong, massive fortress located on a hilltop above the Paro Valley. The Dzong houses the District Administration Office and the District Monk Body. Afternoon drive up the valley to the Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan invadors centuries ago. The snowy dome of sacred Jumolhari, "mountain of goddess" looms directly over the Dzong. On the way back you visit a typical Bhutanese farmhouse. Visit 7th century Kichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. This temple reflects the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan

After breakfast drive to Thimphu, the capital town passing via idyllic countryside, through villages and paddy fields. In the afternoon visit Tashichhodzong: the seat of the government, Memorial Chorten; the stupa built in the memory of Bhutan's Third King and Handicrafts Emporium displying rich traditional crafts of the Kingdom. Just below the town, you may also catch a game of archery in progress at the Changlingmithang. Evening take a stroll around market area

In the morning we will drive to Punakha crossing Dochula pass (3,100m). The pass offers the most spectacular view over the high peaks of the Himalayas on a clear day. Lunch at the campsite. After lunch, drive down to Punakha and visit the Dzong situated at the junction of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers

Your trek will begin today with the gradual climb through Chir Pine forests. On the way, visit a village called Dompala. Sightseeing and photography.

After the breakfast, today the trail today takes you through rhododendron and oak forested area. Enroute pass a famous Drukpa Kuenlay Lhakhang.

The trail now takes you through the village of Sha Wangdue District.

The trail now drops down till the motor road. Drive till Wangdiphodrang and lunch at the Guest House. -After lunch drive to Thimphu. Visit Druk Wangyel monastery at Dochula Pass which is the only of its kind in the country with elaborate paintings depicting the lineage of the present monarchy and their visionary works. Continue drive to Thimphu and check into hotel on arrival.

After breakfast at Thimphu, first of all you will be driven up towards a view point known as kuensel Phodrang where sits a massive sized statue of Buddha. From this point you will be able to view the entire scene of the capital city, Thimphu. After the view, you will visit National Memorial Chorten, a monument dedicated to the Third King of Bhutan, His Majesty King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
On moving down towards the city you will visit National Postal Museum, which is worth a visit for you can get your own picture on a Bhutanese postal stamp right then and there. You can post a cards or letters to your families and friends back home or anywhere else with your personalized stamps. After the lunch we will visit the national zoo where the Takins, Bhutan’s national animal is been Preserved followed by a visit to Tashichhodzong, the capital’s fortress.
