The main Ladakhi monasteries are lying in the remains of the ancient Kingdom of Shan, while there are many astonishing sites around to visit, like alchi, Lamayuru, Phyang, Spituk, Hemis, Thikse and Shey, which are all reachable via the road. Finally, Likir, Ridzong and Temisgang follow you when trekking through the beautiful Ladakh trek route.

Yangthang - Ridzong

Trek from yangthang village to ridzong nunnery back to yangthang for one more night.5/6 hrs walk

Yangthang - Hemis Shukpachan

Trek from Yangthang village to Hemis shukpachan village 2/3 hrs walk

Hemis Shukpachan To Themisgum

Trek from Hemis Shukpachan village to Themisgum village via Maptak la 4000m 4/5 hrs walk
