Tsavo East - Tsavo West- Amboseli- Naivasha- Nakuru- Maasai Mara By Road Economy Safari

Pick up and depart for Tsavo East. Drive towards the main Mombasa Nairobi highway with a short break around 1000hrs and arrival at Tsavo East by 1400hrs. After lunch relax at the lodge until 1530hrs when an evening game drive is scheduled searching for animals until 1830hrs when you return to the lodge for dinner. Tsavo East is home of the red elephants and offers flat landscapes for photography and plentiful wildlife viewing. Accommodation at Voi Safari Lodge or similar.

Full day in Tsavo East with opportunities for game viewing. After lunch guests can relax at the lodge and later proceed for afternoon and evening game drives as per the Day 1 schedule. Animals commonly seen include elephant, lions, cheetah, zebra, antelopes, giraffe and gazelles with wildlife often visiting lodge waterholes. Accommodation at Voi Safari Lodge or similar.

Depart Tsavo East and do a game drive en route to Tsavo West from 0800hrs. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and check in. After lunch relax at the lodge until 1500hrs when an evening game drive is scheduled searching for animals until 1830hrs when you return to the lodge for dinner. Tsavo West offers sightings of elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, antelopes, giraffe, gazelles and the possibility of cheetah, leopard and rhino. Accommodation at Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar.

Travel to Amboseli National Park, known for its striking views of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro and large populations of elephants. The park vegetation includes semi arid acacia and grasses with papyrus edges in swamplands and supports 56 mammals including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, zebra, hippo and black rhino and over 425 recorded bird species. Full day in Amboseli enjoying game viewing with iconic views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli offers high populations of elephants, varied mammals and abundant birdlife and dramatic photographic opportunities on the seasonal riverbeds. Accommodation at AA Lodge Amboseli or similar.

Travel towards Lake Naivasha with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha en route to Lake Nakuru. Lake Naivasha is flanked by papyrus swamps and offers fresh waters, fish species and popular bird watching. Continue to Lake Nakuru and check in at accommodation at Waterbuck or similar.

Explore Lake Nakuru National Park, world famous for its bird life with over 400 species and home to thousands of flamingoes and endangered species such as black and white rhino and Rothschild giraffe. Expect sightings of lions, leopards, hyenas, primates and many herbivores. Accommodation at Hotel Waterbuck or similar.

Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara is an expansive ecosystem contiguous with Tanzania Serengeti known for spectacular game viewing including the great wildebeest and zebra migration and resident big cats. The vegetation is open grassland with acacia woodland thickets and riverine forests offering close range viewing and photography. Accommodation at Masdai Manyatta Camp or similar.

Full day in Masai Mara engaging in unlimited game drives. The Mara offers excellent sighting of the Big Five and dramatic migration events when in season and is home to resident big cats featured in documentaries. Enjoy open plains and riverine habitat for wildlife viewing and photography. Accommodation at Masdai Manyatta Camp or similar.

Additional day in Masai Mara for continued game drives and wildlife observation. Return to your lodge or camp for meals and relaxation in the evenings and prepare for departure the following day. Accommodation at Masdai Manyatta Camp or similar.

Drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi and proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for outbound flights and departure marking the end of the safari adventure.
