Mandvi Gate

Sultan Muzaffar was the architect of this foursquare gate. In the previous times, it was a place where four directions met at a place and was used for the toll collection. All announcements of the royal orders were made from Mandvi Gate. In the year 1864, Ganpatrao Gaekwad, a member of the royal Gaekwad dynasty constructed two more storeys with a clock tower. It was embellished beautifully and till date is bedecked with lights on all festivals and national holidays.
