This itinerary takes you through two of Tanzanias most iconic wildlife destinations: Tarangire National Park and the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Experience dramatic volcanic formations, vast savannahs dotted with baobab trees, and wildlife-rich ecosystems that support an incredible concentration of animals. From large elephant herds of Tarangire to the dense wildlife population within the Ngorongoro Crater, the safari offers opportunities to witness lions, elephants, buffalo and possibly the endangered black rhino. The journey combines expertly guided game drives with carefully selected accommodations for a seamless and enriching safari experience.
Your safari adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your professional safari guide will welcome you. After a short briefing and introduction to the journey, you depart toward Tarangire National Park. The drive passes scenic Tanzanian countryside, local villages, open savannah and views of the Great Rift Valley and takes approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on road and traffic conditions. Upon arrival you begin your first game drive in a park famous for massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Around midday your guide will select a picturesque and safe picnic site inside the park for lunch. In the late afternoon continue the game drive to enjoy sunset over the savannah, then exit the park and proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Panorama Inn.

Today you descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site formed by a collapsed volcano, for one of Africas most extraordinary wildlife experiences. Early in the morning you descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for a full day game drive. The crater offers a self contained ecosystem with fertile plains and forests supporting high densities of wildlife. Expect to observe lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and potentially the endangered black rhinoceros. Your guide will choose a scenic picnic site within the crater for lunch surrounded by dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon continue exploring different habitats within the crater before ascending the rim and driving to accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight at Panorama Inn.

After breakfast at your lodge enjoy a relaxed morning depending on your international flight schedule. If time allows you may unwind at the lodge or take a short optional visit to nearby town areas for last minute shopping or light exploration. Later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international departure flight home, concluding the 3 day safari experience in Tanzania.

45–30 days prior to departure: 50% of total safari cost
Less than 30 days prior to departure or no-show: 100% of total safari cost
