MORNING ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN: Arrive at the nearest airport (Mangalore IXE or Mysore - MYQ) or railway station (Mysore) & transfer to Madikeri (approx. 2.5 - 3 hrs drive). Check into your hotel or homestay.
LUNCH Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, perhaps trying traditional Kodava cuisine.
AFTERNOON ABBEY FALLS: Visit this picturesque waterfall nestled between coffee estates & spice plantations ( best visited right after the the monsoon).
LATE AFTERNOON RAJA'S SEAT: Head to this scenic viewpoint for a spectacular sunset view overlooking the valleys & surrounding cliffs. It was historically a favorite spot of the Kodagu Kings.
EVENING DINNER & RELAXATION: Stroll through the local market in Madikeri & enjoy a cool evening.

MORNING MADIKERI FORT: Visit the fort, which houses the DaskshinaMukhDwar (main gate), a palace & the Kote Ganapathi Temple. It also serves as the Deputy Commissioner's office.
LATE MORNING OMKARESHWAWA TEMPLE: Visit this unique 19th - century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring a mix Gothic & Islamic architectural styles.
LUNCH Lunch at a spot near the plantations.
AFTERNOON COFFEE PLANTATION WALK: Take a guided tour through a coffee estate. Learn about the cultivation of coffee (Coorg is famous for Robusta & Arabica), cardamom, pepper & vanilla.
LATE AFTERNOON DUBARE ELEPHANT CAMP (OPTIONAL): If interested in elephants, drive to Dubare (approx. 1.5 hrs) to watch the elephants bathing & being fed. Best visited early morning.
EVENING LOCAL SHOPPING: ;Purchase Coorg's famous coffee beans, honey, & local spices.

MORNING NISARGADHAMA: Drive to this small, beautiful island formed by the River Kaveri (approx. 30 km from Madikeri). It's accessible via a hanging bridge & is perfect for a nature walk.
LATE MORNING BYLAKUPPE (GOLDEN TEMPLE): Visit the Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple), one of the largest Tibetan settlements in india. Admire the stunning gold-plated statues of Buddha.
LUNCH; Enjoy Tribetan or South India cuisine near Bylakuppe.
AFTERNOON Kaveri Nisargadhama: Return to the river island. You can try boating or simply relax by the riverbanks.
EVENING; Drive back to0 Madikeri.

MORNING TALAKAVERI (SOURCE OF RIVER KAVERI): Drive to the birthplace of the river kaveri (approx. 1.5 hrs). Visit the temple & climb the nearby hill for a mesmerizing view of the Brahmgiri range.
LATE MORNING BHAGAMANDALA: Visit the confluence point of the rivers Kaveri, Kanike & Suvarnavathi, considered a sacred spot.
LUNCH Have lunch at a local eatery near the route.
AFTERNOON MANDALPATTI VIEWPOINT: This popular viewpoint requires a drive up winding roads (often requiring a 4*4 or Jeep). It offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the deep valleys & hills.
EVENING; Return to Madikeri for dinner.

MORNING MALLALLI FALLS: Visit one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Coorg (best during/after monsoon). It requires a walk down many steps but is worth the effort.
AFTERNOON AYURVEDIC SPA/MASSAGE: Relax & rejuvenate with a traditional Ayurvedic treatment or spa session.
EVENING FAREWELL DINNER: Enjoy a final dinner trying the unique Pandi Curry (Coorg Pork Curry) at a specialty restaurant.
OPTION B: IRUPPU FALLS & WILDLIFE
MORNING IRUPPU FALLS: Drive south to visit this beautiful tiered waterfall, which is also a famous pilgrimage spot (Sita Temple nearby).
AFTERNOON Nagarhole National Park (Rajiv Gandhi National Park): Take a jeep Safari in the park, famous for its elephants, tigers & diverse birdlife (ensure you book the safari slot in advance).
EVENING; Drive back to Madikeri.
