5D 4N LADAKH ITINERARY

Morning: Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. You will feel the thin air immediately.

Day: Transfer to your hotel. Spend the entire day resting. Do not overexert yourself, even if you feel fine. Drink plenty of water and ginger tea.

Evening: A very gentle walk to Leh Main Market for local snacks (Thukpa or Mokthuk).

Stay: Leh.

Morning: Visit Hall of Fame (War Museum) and Spituk Monastery.

Afternoon: Drive to Sangam (the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers). On the way back, stop at Magnetic Hill and the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara.

Sunset: Visit Shanti Stupa for a panoramic view of Leh city as the lights come on.

Stay: Leh.

Morning: Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass ($5,359$ meters), once the highest motorable road in the world.Afternoon: Visit Diskit Monastery to see the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue.Evening: Head to the Hunder Sand Dunes. Enjoy a ride on the double-humped Bactrian Camels, unique to this region.Stay: Nubra Valley (Hunder/Diskit).

Morning: Depart early for Pangong Tso. You’ll travel alongside the Shyok River, offering rugged, cinematic landscapes.Afternoon: Arrive at the breathtaking blue Pangong Lake (situated at $4,225$ meters). This is where the climax of 3 Idiots was filmed.Evening: Watch the colors of the lake change as the sun sets. It’s quite cold here, so layer up!Stay: Pangong (Cottages or Camps).
