MORNING; ARRIVE AT PARO AIRPORT (PBH)& TRANSFER TO THIMPHU, This is one of the world's most dramatic airport approaches! Meet your guide/driver & transfer to the capital (approx. 1.5 hrs).
LUNCH THIMPHU LUNCH; Enjoy your first tasteb of authentic Bhutanese cuisine.
AFTERNOON BUDDHA DORDENMA; Visit the popular chorten (stupa), built in honor of the third King. It's a key spot for local worshippers performing their daily circumambulations.
EVENING TASHICHHO DZONG; Witness the magnificent fortress that houses the King's throne & government offices, particularly striking when illuminated at night.
NIGHT OVERNIGHT IN THIMPHU; Relax & explore the Thimphu main street.

MORNING THIMPHU CULTURAL VISIT; Visit the Folk Heritage Museum ( rural life), the Textile Museum (Bhutanese weaving) or the Takin Preserve ( to see the national animal).
LATE MORNING DRIVE TO PUNAKHA VIA DOCHULA PASS; Drive east to Punakha ( approx. 3 hrs). Stop at the Dochula Pass (3,100m) to view the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens & on a clear day, panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas.
LUNCH LUNCH AT DOCHULA PASS CAFETERIA; Enjoy a meal with a view overlooking the mountains.
AFTERNOON PUNAKHA DZONG; Explore the "Palace of Great Happiness," considered Bhutan's most beautiful fortress. It sits majestically at the confluence of the Pho Chhu & Mo Chhu rivers.
NINGHT OVERNIGHT IN PUNAKHA; Enjoy the warmer climate of the Punakha Valley (1,200m).

MORNING CHIMI LHAKHANG HIKE; Take an easy 30-45 minute walk through scenic rice fields to the Chimi Lhakhang (Temple or Fertility), dedicated to the "Divine Madman," Drukpa Kunley.
LATE MORNING PUNAKHA SUSPENSION BRIDGE; Cross one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan, draped with prayer flags, over the Pho Chhu river.
LUNCH LUNCH IN PUNAKHA/WANGDUE; Have a final meal in the Punakha region.
AFTERNOON SCENIC DRIVE TO PARO; Drive back towards Paro (approx. 4hrs ), descending from the Dochula Pass.
LATE AFTERNOON RINPUNG DZONG; On arrival in Paro, visit the Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of the Heaped Jewels) & cross the traditional wooden cantilever bridge.
NIGHT OVERNIGHT IN PARO; Relax & prepare for the long hike tomorrow.

MORNIBNG TAKTSANG GOEMBA (Tiger's Nest) HIKE; Early Star (7.30 AM) : Embark on the full-day trk to Bhutan's most sacred site. The round trip takes approximately 5-7 hrs ( walking time), depending on your fitness level.
LUNCH CAFETERIA STOP; Take a break & have lunch at the halfw3ay cafeteria, offering magnificent views of the monastery.
AFTERNOON KYICHU LHAKHANG; After the hike, visit this 7th century temp[le, one of the oldest & most sacred in Bhutan, to relax & reflect.
EVENING PARO TOWN &B FAREWELL; Stroll the main street of Paro town for last - minute souvenir shopping or enjoy a traditional Hot Stone Bath (optional, recommended for sore muscles!)
NINGHT OVERNIGHT IN PARO; Enjoy your final night in the Kingdom.
