Day 1

COLOMBO - NEGOMBO

On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2

NEGOMBO - KANDALAMA

Travel by road to Kandalama. En route visit the impressive Rock Cave Temple in Dambulla. The caves house exquisite paintings and shelter 150 statues of Lord Buddha. After the visit continue to Kandalama where you will indulge in a cave dinner at the Hertiance Kandalama this evening.
Day 3

KANDALAMA

This morning, climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress. Climb the stairs to the top for incredible views. In the afternoon visit Polonnaruwa, the island’s medieval capital and rich with ancient culture and hertiage. Walk amongst the scattered walls, stupas and sculptures.
Day 4

KANDALAMA - KANDY

Depart for Kandy. En route stop at Matale and visit a spice garden. This afternoon, explore the small lakeside town of Kandy. In the evening see a cultural show.
Day 5

KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

Drive to Nuwara Eliya. On arrival the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 6

NUWARA ELIYA

Today is at leisure and you also have your vehicle and driver at your disposal for further explorations.
Day 7

NUWARA - COLOMBO

Transfer to the airport.
