  Our 5-day safari trip was beautifully organized from start to finish. Seeing the elephant herd in Amboseli, the movement of zebras and wildebeest - I could see everything very clearly. After going to Tsavo East, it was nice to see the large open area of the park and the red-dust elephants. And a visit to the inner Mzima Springs in Tsavo West was a unique experience - it was great to see hippos in the clear water.   OMG—this was the coolest trip ever! Huge thanks to Lamara Tourism for organizing the most amazing safari for our family. I still can’t get over how close we got to the wildebeest crossing in Masai Mara—it was intense and beautiful at the same time. I even saw a cheetah sprinting across the plains! Jambo Mara felt like a magical campsite with super comfy beds. Lake Nakuru was all pink with flamingos, and I saw a rhino for the first time—so cool! Our hotel in Nakuru (Woodlands) had great food and Wi-Fi, which was perfect for sharing pics with my friends. Lamara, you totally nailed it! ...more

  I was really disappointed! We booked a 3-day safari to Amboseli in April 2025 through another company, who then passed us on to Trip Genius. At first, everything seemed fine, but after comparing notes with colleagues, I realized the original arrangements made by the other company were quite poor — and that left us feeling really let down. Thankfully, the team at Trip Genius stepped in. The CEO and our driver went out of their way to upgrade our experience, making sure we got better service, just like our colleagues did. That made a huge difference. I’ve learned my lesson — I’ll book directly with Trip Genius Advisory Tours next time. They truly made the experience worthwhile.   Bottom line up front: the best trip EVER. That is a bold statement because I have been to over 50 countries (including 8 African countries). The accommodations, the people, the country, our guide and the animals defied all expectations. To start with Kosen (the owner of the tour company) arranged the trip to be exactly what we asked for. No detail was spared. It was our 30th anniversary and there was a special touch at every stop. More importantly, they sponsor schools in the bush to make sure the kids get a chance for education. They have recued young girls and built dormitories so they can get an education and autonomy. Furthermore, they sponsor soccer teams in the slums of Nairobi for impoverished urban kids and create academic support and tutoring programs to help lift them out of poverty.
