Gooty Fort, also known by the name of Ravadurg, is a semi-ruined fortress that stands on the hillock situated in the town of Gooty, Andhra Pradesh. It is a major site of interest in Andhra Pradesh and is visited by numerous visitors on a daily basis. As far as the history of the fort is concerned, the Chalukyas were the first that sat on the throne as a ruling authority. Later on, this fort came under the rule of Rayas, Mughal, Marathas, and British in the different parts of history.
