There are many places one can visit in the city. Lepakshi Temple is frequently flocked by visitors to see the mural paintings and shrines of Shiva, Vishnu and Virabhadra. The city is also home to a very large Banyan tree, Thimmamarri manu, which is spread over the area of 5 acres (20,000 m2).
