Godavari Dham

Godavari Dham is a popular Hindu temple that rests near the banks of the River Chambal. The first time visitors usually mistake this shrine being dedicated to River Godavari. This temple enshrines Lord Hanuman. The idol of Lord Hanuman is depicted as carrying the mace and trident with his one leg raised. The tantalizing idol is red in color and catches the attention of the devotees immediately.

4) If Hanuman Jayanti falls on a Tuesday or a Saturday, the spirit of the festival doubles up as these two days are considered as auspicious.
