Pradhyuman Zoological Park

Pradhyuman Zoological Park is a famous and must-see travel destination in Gujarat. It is located in Rajkot city and never fails to attract the visitors. This zoo is a home to a vast variety of the wild animals and birds that can be seen here roaming freely. Apart from seeing the animals, the premises of the zoo also have a gallery where the information about every animal and bird of the zoo is displayed for the children.

1)    Pradhyuman Zoo is a residence to the wild creatures like the tiger, lion, panther, jaguar, leopard, stallion, elephant, fox, hyena, stag, deer, antelope, hare etc.
2)    It also provides a shelter to the reptiles like the chameleon, Indian rock python, rattle-snake, king cobra etc.
3)    The amphibians like the alligator and crocodile can be seen here as well. Recently, the bull-frog has been introduced in the zoological park.
4)    The avifauna of the park includes the peafowl, non-flying birds like the ostrich and emu, hawk, vulture, different parrots etc.

Best Time To Visit:-
Pradhyuman Zoological Park is a destination that is visited by the locals and tourists alike. It can be visited during any season of the year. But, it is recommended that one should prefer visiting the site during cool months i.e. October-February.

When you’re in the zoo with children, do not miss visiting the gallery located there. The kids will adore learning the new facts about the wild animals. Moreover, you can capture the zoo officials feeding the big cats with the meat.

All visitors have to pay the entry fee and the fee for photography/videography.
