This 4 day luxury safari in northern Tanzania visits Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, with accommodation in Njiro Legacy in Arusha and Angata Ngorongoro Camp. The tour starts and ends at Kilimanjaro Airport and includes guided game drives, road transfers between parks and stays in tented bush camp and hotel accommodation. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffe, hippos, baboons and the special tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara. Meals are provided as specified in the day by day plan and park fees, drinking water and a professional guide are included.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer by road to Arusha where you will be based at Njiro Legacy hotel. This first day allows time to recover from travel, meet the team and receive an introduction to the safari itinerary. Arusha provides dynamic street life, markets and local food if you wish to explore. Meals for the day are lunch and dinner at the hotel.

Depart Arusha by road for Tarangire National Park where you will go on guided game drives. Tarangire is renowned for large elephant populations, baobabs and a good chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo and zebras. After game viewing in the park, transfer to Angata Ngorongoro Camp for tented bush camp accommodation. Meals for the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full day guided game drive on the crater floor. Ngorongoro offers dramatic scenery with steep crater walls, mist in the morning and a protected environment for wildlife including lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos and golden jackals. Explore hippo filled lakes, a salt pan, forests and hyena dens while your expert guide leads viewing opportunities. Meals for the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner and accommodation is at Angata Ngorongoro Camp.

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a guided game drive along the forests and lakeshore. Lake Manyara is compact and famed for large elephant and baboon populations and the rare tree climbing lions. After wildlife viewing look out for birdlife and scenic Rift Valley escarpment views. After the game drive transfer by road to Kilimanjaro Airport to conclude the tour. Meals for the day are breakfast and lunch.
