Accommodation for the night is at Fanaka Lodge close to the park entrance and Mto wa Mbu, with onsite facilities including a pool and restaurant. Early morning transfer by road from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro for a thrilling descent onto the crater floor. Spend most of the day inside Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem home to hyenas, critically endangered black rhinos, large tusked elephants and a resident lion population. The drive down into the crater is one of the most thrilling approaches for a day of wildlife viewing. After the day in the crater transfer back to Karibu Heritage House for overnight.
