This 5 day Tanzania Adventure Safari starts and ends in Arusha and visits Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park with two nights in the Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Accommodation is largely at Ikumbi Safari Lodge and Central Serengeti Luxury Camp with most meals included as per day by day plan. Guests will travel by road in 4 wheel drive jeeps with pop up rooftops for exceptional wildlife viewing. Highlights include elephants and baobab trees in Tarangire, tree climbing lions and lakeside scenery at Lake Manyara, expansive savannah and prolific wildlife of the Serengeti, and a full day game drive on the floor of Ngorongoro Crater searching for lions, black rhinos and other large mammals.
Begin your safari with a transfer by road from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. After an introductory briefing you will explore Tarangire National Park, renowned for large baobab trees, significant elephant populations and a strong lion presence. Expect to see wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras across rocky hills, rivers, swamps and savannah plains. After game viewing transfer to Ikumbi Safari Lodge for lunch and dinner and relax at the lodge to process the days experiences.

Transfer by road from Ikumbi Safari Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park for a guided game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for elephants that inhabit dense forest and for tree climbing lions as well as extensive birdlife and dramatic lake and escarpment scenery. There is also an opportunity to visit Mto wa Mbu to gain insights into small town Tanzania and Maasai community life. Evening return to Ikumbi Safari Lodge with meals provided.
