This 4 day safari begins and ends in Arusha and covers Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. The itinerary combines a lodge stay at Fanaka Lodge and budget camping in the Serengeti with guided game drives each day. Highlights include seeing elephants, baobab trees, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras and the chance to encounter black rhino and hyenas in Ngorongoro. Travel is by 4 wheel drive jeeps equipped for wildlife viewing. The tour includes park fees, most meals as specified, drinking water and a professional guide.
Start the safari from Arusha with an introductory briefing before departure and transfer by road to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a guided game drive in Tarangire looking for elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards and a variety of plains species against a backdrop of baobab trees, river woodland and rolling hills. Later transfer to Sunbright Campsite and Lodge or Fanaka Lodge for the evening where you can relax, have lunch and dinner and process the days sightings.

Transfer by road towards the Serengeti with arrival and a guided game drive through Serengeti National Park. Explore the vast savannah grasslands known for their extraordinary wildlife density and diversity. Your guide will point out the Serengeti highlights as you search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes and hyenas. Stay overnight in budget camping and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park with additional game drives to discover more wildlife and landscapes. Continue to explore the park's savannahs where big cat prides, solitary leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and many other species can be seen. Overnight in budget camping under the stars with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.

Depart Serengeti by road and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for a guided game drive down onto the crater floor. Spend most of the day exploring the crater looking for lions, hyenas, elephants, hippos, and critically endangered black rhinos as mist lifts revealing the crater walls and waterways. After the crater experience transfer by road from Ngorongoro to Arusha where the tour concludes. Breakfast and lunch are provided on this day.
