A 5 day private safari through northern Tanzania covering Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The tour begins and ends at Kilimanjaro Airport and uses 4 wheel drive jeeps with pop up roofs for optimal wildlife viewing. Accommodation is a combination of Eileens Trees Inn and Robins Serengeti Camp with meals provided as specified in the day by day section. Begin your Tanzanian safari at Kilimanjaro Airport with a road transfer to Tarangire National Park. Meet the team and receive an introduction to the itinerary and vehicle. Tarangire is known for giant baobab trees and large elephant populations as well as lions, zebra, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and occasional African wild dog. Accommodation for the night is at Eileens Trees Inn near Karatu town, offering garden surroundings and a relaxed restaurant. Expect a guided game drive on arrival and time to relax and process the days experiences.

Transfer by road from Eileens Trees Inn to Serengeti National Park where you will be based at Robins Serengeti Camp. The Serengeti offers vast horizons for spotting large numbers and variety of wildlife including the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra, predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs, plus elephants and giraffes. You will enjoy a guided game drive through classic Serengeti landscapes and have the opportunity to observe predators and prey. Evening accommodation is in a tented camp with meals provided.

The day includes guided game drives on established safari trails in search of animals and opportunities to witness predator behaviour and the varied Serengeti fauna. The experience is focused on wildlife viewing and photography in expansive classic African scenery.

Return into the Serengeti for an early morning game drive to make the most of wildlife activity and soft warm light for photography. After morning wildlife viewing transfer by road back to Eileens Trees Inn where an extra night allows you to linger in tranquil gardens and enjoy the onsite restaurant. The day combines early morning safari excitement with a relaxed afternoon and evening at lodge accommodation.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full day guided game drive on the crater floor. The unique caldera ecosystem supports hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos and offers dramatic crater rim views and cloud forest surrounds. After exploring the crater and searching for key species your road transfer will return you to Kilimanjaro Airport to finish the tour.
