Zanskar is a subdistrict or tehsil of the Kargil district,which lies in the eastern half of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.The administrative centre is Padum.Zanskar valley nestle in the remote corner of Ladakh , is one of the least visited and most enchanting places to visit in Himalayas,zanskar is also known for its wide views and sceneries,caves monasteries and mostly travelled to for its trekking trails and river rafting experiences and the suru valley.Zanskar, covers an area of some 7,000 square kilometres, lies at an altitude of about 3,500 to 7,000 metres (11,500 - 23,000 feet) amsl. The zanskar valley is a paradise for adventure travel enthusiast and not for the comfort seeker. Do enjoy the adrenalin rush, in the hidden kingdom of Zanskar. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Leh

  LADAKH
  After arriving Leh(11500 ft) from Delhi(777 ft). after crossing the the Great Himalayan Range you can see the stretch of the high altitude dessert below ,you will be received by representative of Snow lion Himalaya travel And transfer to the hotel/guest house, spend the rest of the day for acclimatisation to the high altitude of Leh .
• Day 2 : Leh - Lamayuru

  LADAKH
  Today after breakfast and briefing, it’s time to kick start yours motorbikes towards Lamayuru(11364 ft) a 125 km far from Leh which has a famous monastery.on the way to Lamayuru you can visit hall of fame ,Pathar Sahib, Magnetic hill , Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar river) and the famous Lamayuru moon land .The whole route has an easy riding with wide and smooth road..
• Day 3 :  Lamayuru - Kargil

  LADAKH
  After fixing accessories and gearing up, we will kick start our ride towards Kargil. Today the route is smooth enough with two passes to cross Fotula (13,478 ft) and Namikala (12,139 ft) and our ride goes with few breath-taking and eye catching villages like Wakha , Mulbek and at Mulbek you can see a 9 meter high statue Maitreya,buddha (the future buddhha)after bowing down to the maitriya Buddha we start our journey to wards kargil.
• Day 4 : Kargil - Rangdum

  LADAKH
  After breakfast we leave towards Rangdum via Suru valley where twin peaks of Nun (7135 m) and Kun (7087 m) are the biggest and main attraction in the valley would be seen and the views throughout the journey was brilliant which changing on every gear shifting, what ever direction we see it's so scenic and eye catching and visit the rich ancient monastery of random on arrival.
• Day 5 : Rangdum - Padum

  LADAKH
  Today iafter breakfast we leave Rangdum towards Padum via Pentsila through the remote village of Rangdum and the roads starts ascending towards Pensi la (14000 ft) the highest point between Leh to Kargil and you find yourself surrounded by glaciers, small lakes and Marmots are frequently seen and the beauty was such that you can’t resist yourself to take few shots and from here onwards the real beauty of Zanskar become apparent. Without taking much time we roll down towards Padum and you ride on the road full of dirt upto the outskirts of padum where you are greeted by a tarmac road after riding for about 180 km on dirt trials. Padum is a small town with all amenities like hotel, restaurant, internet café etc.
• Day 6 : Explore Zanskar

  ZANSKAR
  Day to explore Zanskar, its lands , people , culture and the ride trail goes towards Karsha Monastery of Zanskar region (9 km long link road, across an iron bridge over the Stod river) the route offers stunning landscapes, Gonpas, forts and tall multi hued mountains. Built picturesquely along the steeply rising mountainside above Karsha village, the monastery can be seen from far. After visiting Karsha we proceed further towards Bardan Gompa, a 17th century Buddhist monastery standing atop a rocky crag, belongs to the Dugpa-Kargyud. approximately 12 kilometres south of Padum
• Day 7 : Rangdum - Kargil

  ZANSKAR
  Early morning after breakfast we retrace our route back to Kargil via same route through beautiful valleys, crossing some streams and witnessing some awesome glaciers
• Day 8 : Kargil - Ulaytopo via Hamboting la

  LADAKH
  After morning breakfast we leave Kargil towards Aryans valley via Hamboting la since we chose a different route from kargil onwards vai Batalik sector & Dha Bema which is recently open for tourist. Enroute enjoy the scenery of villages of Dharkon, and Hanu with pure Aryans descendants of Alexander army
• Day 9 : Ullaytopo to Leh Enroute Rafting

  LADAKH
  Kick Start the bikes for the final lap of the tour on the way back to Leh with easy riding conditions on well metalled roads Enroute we visit the famous Basgo castle and monastery and while arriving at the sangam we park our bike at the same point and move further for our rafting expedition upto chilling, which will make you feel refresh after the tiring tour.
• Day 10 :  Leh - Khardongla (world highest motor able road)

  LADAKH
  Today its time for us to fulfill our dreams to hit the world’s heights motor able road Khardong la (18380ft )in the beginning the roads are wide and smooth enough as we gear up and could see the pass from far the roads turns into off road with crossing small stream making through sharp turns soon we’ll hit the Khardong la pass, after having some hot black tea and clicking some pictures we roll down to Leh market for a nice lunch and hangout around the Leh market in the evening.
• Day 11 :  Hangout around Leh market

  LADAKH
  As all of us is quite tired by riding through some of the highest passes and by click more stories of trip & Himalayas. So today it’s a time to refresh and hangout around Leh market & visit some nearby spots and shop for some souvenir and taste some best cuisine in Leh town
• Day 12 :  TOUR ENDS

  LADAKH
  Fly back with some of the best memories of Ladakh Himalaya and take lots of gifts for your friends & families
