Overview
Ladakh, one of the few strongholds of Tibetan Buddhist life, culture and religion, lies cradled in the heart of the Great North-Western Himalaya. Leh, the capital of Ladakh nestled in the Indus River valley, was trading town at the junction of the historic silk route from China and central Asia to the plains of India.
Based in the town of Leh (11,500 ft. / 3505 m), the journey includes & unveils many fascinating excursions to cliff side gompas (monasteries) inhabited by peaceful Buddhist monks, pretty villages & surrounding countryside, high passes and dramatic mountain scenery.

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, a representative of Snow lion Himalaya travel will greet and transfer you to the Guest house. Spend rest of the day at G. house for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 metres). Evening enjoy a short walk to Leh market.
Have a very hearty breakfast at the G. house Later embark on Ladakh tour to see some of the best monasteries of Ladakh including Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Gompa, Rancho school,(real name DRUK PADMA KARPO)Shey Palace and .after lunch visit the leh palace, shanti stupa &Tsemo gonpa , On time drive back and check in at the G. house for dinner and overnight stay.
Take breakfast at the G. house and then drive over Khardungla Pass (the highest motor able road in the world (18380 feet) on the way visit Samstanling monastery at Sumoor & hot spring at Panamik. Later drive across to Hunder to check in camp/G. house for overnight stay &enjoy fire camp on cash payment.
Take breakfast at the G. house/camp. Later drive to sand dune near Hunder village for double hump camel safari and on the way back visit the famous Disket monastery ,and drive to Leh through Khardongla Pass ,in the evening visit Leh market for shopping overnight at G. house
Today after early breakfast at the G. house drive to the famous Pangong lake(150 km) through the 3rd highest motor able road ( Changa la pass)after visiting the lake drive back to Leh for overnight stay at G. house
River Rafting on Zanskar river Today it’s time for some adventure, after having breakfast proceed to Chilling and get set for rafting our rafting guide will give you some instructions about rafting and roll down in raft till Sangam , where the hot buffet lunch is waiting for you . And on the way back visit magnetic hill, gurudwra, and hall of fame and back to G. house for overnight stay
Leh – Kushok bakula air port in the early morning a representative will transfer you to the Leh Airport for taking the flight back to home End of our service. Jullay.
