Arrive at 8;15AM meet and great with local guide, after a short brief about the tour , then begging the the tour by using TUK- TUK ride escorted by guide to the Lake for Canoeing, and waterfall tour. Tour begins by using TUKI - TUK ride through the village to Mawaleni waterfall , Lake tour for local Canoeing activities then ends with Cooking class at local momam;s home. LOCAL CANOEING ACTIVITIES: Embark on a traditional fishing boat with local fishermen in Mto wa mbu village exploring Lake Manyara shores while encountering different wildlife’s along the Lake shores. Expect to see some animals like hippos, Zebras, impalas, Wildebeests, and vast number of bird species such as Pelicans, flocks of Flamingos, egrets, hammerlocks, storks etc, the tour last from 2 hours or more and it is conducted outside the park area but under WMA. VILLAGE TUK-TUK TOUR: Get an inside look at the homes and exquisite crafts of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. Visitors will get a chance to meet locals and learn about banana beer, Makonde wood carvings, and the tribe painting techniques, Kisu and Tingatinga.
