Welcome to Mahale Mountains National Park! On the shores of Lake Tanganyika, the oldest and deepest lake in the world lies a pristine and remote park; the Mahale Mountains National Park. This park holds and protect the largest known population of chimpanzees, the jungle and the mountains. Visiting the park is a gratifying experience as you have a chance to carry chimp-trekking, hiking, snorkelling, Sport fishing, Boat ride, fly camping and Bird watching. Getting there By road: Distance from Kigoma town to Mahale Mountains National Parks is 220 km. By water: From Kigoma town can be reached by ship and then by using boat with 30 minutes’ cruise. The best time for forest walks is during the dry season where chimpanzees are likely to be seen in big groups. Kigoma to Gombe Pickup from Kigoma aqua beach to Gombe at 9:00 am Arrive at 11:00 complete registration, and start first trekking. The trekking takes four hours depending on where the chimps are it can go beyond four hours. Back to the camp for lunch. Spend the evening at Lake Tanganyika beach for swimming, snorkelling and sunset. Dinner with Picnic and boni fire at the beach. Overnight at Kasekela or similar.

You will get Breakfast at 8:00 followed by second chimps trekking and visiting Kakombe waterfalls and Jane Good all feeding station and peak, the hikes take you to the chimp’s habitations areas walking through the jungle forest observing the endangered primates the chimpanzee, back to the camp for lunch, spend the evening at the beach and sunset. Dinner at the beach with born fire. overnight at same Lodge.

Breakfast, followed by Learning more about Jane Goodall's past and ongoing research, visiting Jane Goodall's memory house, and free time to walk along the beach enjoying Lake Tanganyika. Get lunch and take a boat ride back to Kigoma. Transfer to your hotel.
