2 Nights 3 Days Maasai Cultural Tourism – Lengijabe Village

Depart from Arusha Town in the afternoon, or after lunch, drive all the way to LENGIJAPE Village in the Maasai community. It is about a 20 km drive from Arusha Town. On arrival visitors will be welcomed with special songs and dances sung by Maasai women. This is followed by an introduction. Check in and settle. Then, begin the Maasai Village Tour: explore a traditional Maasai boma, learn customs and interact with locals. At night after dinner around the Camp fire visitors will have a moment with Maasai elderly chief leader Oloiboni ( a spiritual leader] for storytelling session and give his own life story. Followed by Maasai Dance and Cultural performance [ Chanting]- Experience energetic live traditional dance, songs​. .

Early morning activities- visitors( especial women) can join Maasai women for Milking goats , or practice milking . After breakfast followed by guided tour in the bush with Maasai herbalist[ Moran] to identify medicinal herbs and learn the health benefits During the lunch time: Mbuzi (Goat Barbeque) – Enjoy delicious grilled goat, a true Maasai delicacy in the open air. Moran will prepare medicinal soup(motori) boiling barks and roots and mix with white soup.
