This 5 day Serengeti Ndutu Migration and Ngorongoro Crater safari begins and ends at Kilimanjaro Airport and is based in northern Tanzania. The itinerary includes an arrival transfer to Arusha with a briefing, two nights in Ndutu to experience migration and excellent big cat sightings, a day in Central Serengeti National Park for expansive savannah wildlife viewing, and a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. Accommodation is a mix of mid range hotel and tented camps with meals as specified. The trip features guided game drives, road transfers between parks, wildlife viewing including lions, hyenas, black rhinos and migrating herds, and park fees and drinking water included.
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer by road to Arusha with a trip briefing on arrival. You will be welcomed, receive a trip briefing and be transferred to Njiro Legacy in Arusha where you will have time to relax and recover from travel. Arusha offers lively streets, local food, markets and museums providing a window into provincial Tanzanian city life. Meals on day 1 include lunch and dinner at the hotel.

Transfer by road from Arusha Njiro Legacy to Ndutu and check in at Safari Haven Migration Camp. Led by a professional wildlife guide you will begin exploring Ndutu, an area south of the Serengeti known for big cats and migration activity. Expect wide horizons and excellent wildlife viewing as you settle into the tented camp. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A full day based in Ndutu to explore more of the area that sits between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Ndutu provides quieter, intimate safari experiences with excellent opportunities to see big cats including tree climbing lions and other wildlife, particularly during the great migration. Accommodation remains at Safari Haven Migration Camp with all meals included.

Transfer by road from Ndutu to Central Serengeti National Park and check in at Safari Haven inside the park. The Central Serengeti is the best area in Tanzania to spot big cats and offers iconic savannah scenery with acacia trees. You will take guided game drives in search of animals across the park and have time to enjoy the camp and location. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Early transfer by road from Central Serengeti National Park down to Ngorongoro Crater. You will spend the best part of the day on a guided game drive on the crater floor where the unique sunken ecosystem hosts hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. After the crater visit there is a road transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport where the tour concludes. Meals on day 5 include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
