Package Overview

This unique 4 night 5-day adventure safari takes you through Kenya’s best game reserve, the Masai Mara National Reserve, for 2 nights. Then we head down the great rift valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the rare white rhino species as well as a bird’s paradise. We will also visit Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate National Park before returning to Nairobi.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Masai Mara

  Pick up from your hotel and at around 7:30am, to the assembly point and meet the rest of the group. Depart officially at 8:30am; drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the viewpoint, arriving in time for early lunch. Later after check in, proceed for an evening game drive in a landscape that is well known for its rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp or similar with facilities such as hot shower and toilet inside the tent.

• Day 2 : Masai Mara

  After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch. You spend a full day game viewing with a visit to the Mara river where there is a concentration of a lot of animals. You will have your picnic lunch as you watch the crocodiles, hippos, and other animals living in the water. All meals and overnight at the camp.

• Day 3 : Masai Mara Village Visit - Nakuru

  After breakfast, you can opt for a short nature walk leading to masai village (optional activity), otherwise you will check out of camp and depart to Nakuru with picnic lunch en-route. You can as well opt to do a boat ride safari on lake naivasha on your way to nakuru(an optional activity as well). Dinner and overnight at Lanet Matfam Resort-Buraha Zenoni-Hillcourt.

• Day 4 : Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha

  After an early breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National park where if you’re lucky, you will see flamingos in millions among other birds (about 350 species recorded). This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Have a late afternoon drive to Naivasha, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at Chambai Hotel-Apex Resort.

• Day 5 : Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

  After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National park where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. There is an optional boat ride at Cresent Island as you watch hippos and other animals. Later depart to Nairobi, arriving in the evening, when we will drop you off at your hotel or airport.
