A 7 day wildlife safari in Tanzania starting and ending in Arusha. The itinerary includes game drives and wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park, an extended stay in Serengeti National Park with guided day and early morning drives, exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater with a full day on the crater floor, and a visit to Serval Wildlife before transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport. Accommodation ranges from mid range hotels and lodges in Arusha to a tented camp in the Serengeti. Included are park fees, most meals as specified, drinking water, transport in 4 wheel drive jeeps with pop up roofs, and a professional guide.
Begin the safari in Arusha with arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and airport transfer to Arusha. After a greeting and trip briefing you will have time to relax and discover Arusha, a lively town with busy streets, markets, museums and a vibrant food scene. This first day allows time to process arrival and prepare for the safari ahead. Accommodation is at Njiro Legacy hotel with lunch and dinner provided.

Transfer by road from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. The park offers rolling savannah scenery with rivers and low hills and is not usually crowded. Accommodation is at Eileens Trees Inn with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Transfer by road from Eileens Trees Inn to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its vast savannahs and diverse wildlife including leopards along dry riverbanks, cheetahs on the grasslands, elephants, giraffes, many antelope species and large lion prides. The park is also home to millions of migrating wildebeest and zebras. You will undertake guided game drives to search for the abundant wildlife. Accommodation is at a tented camp and meals are provided.

Full day in Serengeti National Park with guided game drives to see the best of the park. Expect an immersive safari experience with opportunities to view a wide range of species while driving across the grasslands and savannah. Wind in your hair style drives provide excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Accommodation remains at Serengeti Classic View Camp with all meals included.

An early morning game drive in the Serengeti to take advantage of golden morning light when animals are most active and easiest to find. Later transfer by road from Serengeti National Park to Eileens Trees Inn. The morning offers high chances to observe predators and other wildlife in active search and feeding behaviors. Meals are provided and there is time to relax after the drives.

Explore the Ngorongoro Crater with a guided game drive down the steep trail onto the crater floor. The crater is a unique sunken ecosystem surrounded by cloud forest and rim views with abundant wildlife on the floor including hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. Spend most of the day exploring the crater and watching for diverse species before transferring by road to Njiro Legacy in Arusha for evening accommodation and meals.

Visit Serval Wildlife where rescued animals including zebra, lion and giraffe have been habituated to people and are likely to approach on visit. After the wildlife encounter transfer by road to Kilimanjaro Airport to finish the tour. Meals are provided for the day and this marks the end of the safari package.
