Bhutan is a small, landlocked country nestled in the eastern Himalayas between India and China. Known as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" (Druk Yul), Bhutan is famous for its dramatic mountains, ancient monasteries, and deep-rooted Buddhist culture. The country places a strong emphasis on tradition, environmental conservation, and spiritual well-being, guided by its unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness instead of purely economic growth. With its peaceful society, rich heritage, and breathtaking landscapes, Bhutan stands out as a nation that values harmony between people, nature, and culture.
