Arrival In Paro – Transfer To Thimphu
Kuzuzangpo La and a heartfelt welcome to Bhutan! Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will greet you and introduce you to the Land of the Thunder Dragon. After a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, with a stop at Tamchog Lhakhang to admire its historic iron chain bridge, you will check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Thimphu town at leisure, wandering through its colorful markets and mingling with the locals. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to the base of Tango Monastery and hike for about an hour to reach the hilltop retreat. Surrounded by pine forests, the monastery provides spiritual calm and sweeping valley views. Returning to town for lunch, continue to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) to admire one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Afterwards, visit the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s unusual national animal, explore the vibrant Weekend Market, and end the day by observing traditional archery at the local grounds. Bumthang To Phobjikha
