Day 1 : Pokhara to Kalikasthan
The trail starts near the army camp on the Prithvi highway, just east of the Vijaypur Khola. Cross the flat area of rice fields and the river before reaching the ridge of Kalikasthan (1370m). If you are doing this trek in the summer the river may be difficult to cross if it is flooded. Arrive Kalikasthan, which has basically camp sites on grassy land with fine views.
Day 2 : Kalikasthan to Syanglung (1730m)
On the next day, after breakfast, the trail follows the forested ridge. We walk through the villages, the ridge of the mountain with the good view of Annapurna and Lamjung. We spend our night in Syanglung.
Day 3 : Syanglung to Chisapani (1629m)
The trail descends to the valley floor rhododendron and sal forest. Halfway through the walk, there is a 400m descent and 600m ascent to arrive at Chisapani. This is the best point to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. The campsite is a short walk beyond the village near the ridge top temple, and the views are sublime.
Day 4 : Chisapani to Pokhara
The day involves a leisurely stroll along the ridge that separates Rupa Tal. We climb about 200m to arrive at Sundare danda and walk 15 min down to Begnas Tal for an exciting an hour boating. Emerging on the valley floor at Begnas Bazaar, from here drive back to Pokhara, transfer to hotel.
