Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu.

  Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. You will be met at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza or Similar. Overnight stay in hotel.
  Accommodation :
  Kathmandu : Solatee Crown Plaza or similar

• Day 2 : Morning, Sightseeing Tour - Afternoon: Fly To Nepalgunj.

  Morning: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu . Visit Pashupatinath temple . After lunch , transfer to domestic airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. The flight takes about an hour to reach Nepalgunj. Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to Hotel.
  
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at hotel Siddhartha or Hotel Vatika.
  • Kathmandu to Nepalgunj: 1 hour flight .

  • Hotspots : Pashupatinath Temple

• Day 3 : Morning, Fly To Simikot - Hilsa And Drive To Taklakot

  Early morning at ( 5:30 am) you should be ready to depart for airport to board your flight to Simikot. Normally, the flight leaves for Simikot at around 6:30 am, if there is a clear weather in all places (Nepalgunj, en- route and Simikot ( delay by an hour OR two is quite normal in this sector ).. 
  
  The flight requires about an hour to reach Simikot. . From Simmikot , we fly to Hilsa by Helicopter ,
  We will have to walk for 10 minutes crossing bridge over river Karnali to enter the Chinese territory and complete the immigration formalities and further drive to Taklakote.
  
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Taklakote ( Guesthouse )
  • Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour (by Twin otter aircraft with 15 seats OR Dronier aircraft with 15 seats)
  • Simmikot to Hilsa : 25 minutes ( approx ) by Helicopter .
  • Hilsa to Taklakote : one hr drive

• Day 4 : Acclimatisation Day At Taklakot

  Full day free for acclimatization at Taklakot.
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Purang Guesthouse ( twin sharing room with attached toilet ).

• Day 5 : Drive, Taklakot To Lake Mansarovar ( Chiu Gompa 4550 M ).

  Early morning (after breakfast) you will depart for Lake Manasarovar (4550 m- Chui Gompa). The drive takes about approx 2 hrs. On the way,we will take a short break to see the breathtaking views of Rakshas Taal with back ground view of holy Mount Kailash.

  • Overnight stay at Shishapangama Guesthouse OR similar ( dormitory room) .
  • Taklakot to Lake Manasarovar: 2 hours Drive

• Day 6 : Yama Dwar Darshan - Start Parikrama To Diraphuk ( 4860 M ).

  Morning drive to Yamadwar via Darchen.), the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash. Yama Dwar is the place, from where the group, normally, splits in two parts. Some members will start attempting Parikrama and some will return back to Darchen and wait for those members who have gone for Parikrama.
  
  MEMBERS WHO JOIN PARIKRAMA: You will start trekking from “Yama Dwar” to Diraphuk. The trail is quite easy & flat. You have to cross the river a couple of time, other than this, it is quite easy day today. Roughly, you will be trekking 12 kms today and it takes around 5- 6 hrs. 
  
  MEMBERS WHO DIDN'T JOIN THE PARIKRAMA: After having Darshan from Yamadwar, you will be returning back to Darchen and wait for those who have gone for Parikrama. 
  
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Guesthouse (very basic accommodation with dormitory bed room)
  • Yama Dwar to Deraphuk trek: 5 – 6 hrs (approximately 12 km)

• Day 7 : Trek To Zutulphuk (4760 M). Via Dolma Pass ( 5600 M ).

  MEMBERS WHO JOIN PARIKRAMA: Early morning start uphill 6 kms trekking to Dolma-La (5600 m).Today is the toughest day of this journey. The entire trail up to Dolma-La is rapidly up. The holiest water pool ( glacial lake – Gauri kunda) is just situated beyond the Dolma-La. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva takes bath. From Dolma-La the trail rapidly drops down to the valley floor (Zutulphuk).
  After down hill 4 kms trek to the valley (the next side of the high pass), the trek up to Zutulphuk Gomba requires another two hours .From the valley floor, the trail is flat all the way to Darchen. Today, you will be crossing approximately 22 kms in 9 to 10 hrs time.
  
  
  MEMBERS WHO DIDN'T JOIN THE PARIKRAMA : Waiting in Darchen.
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Local Guesthouse ( Dormitory accommodation)
  • Diraphuk to Zutulphuk Gomba: 9 – 10 hrs trek ( approx ).

• Day 8 : Finish Trek Near Darchen - Drive Back To Hilsa.

  MEMBERS WHO JOIN PARIKRAMA: Today, you will complete your trekking 8 kms ( Parikrama ), near Darchen, our vehicles waiting to pick you and transfer to Hilsa ( 3 hrs journey). After finishing Parikrama, the whole group will merge together & drive to Hilsa.
  
  Despite of basic facility in Hilsa, we will stay overnight because the next day you can fly by Helicopter early morning,so as to connect our onward scheduled flights to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu without any problem.
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Local Guesthouse at HILSA (very very basic with local village style)
  • Zutulphuk to trek ending point: 3 - 4 hrs walk - 8 km (approx.)
  • Trek ending point to Hilsa: 3 hours drive by Delux Vehicle.

• Day 9 : Fly, Hilsa - Simikot (Heli) Then Continue Fly To Kathmandu.

  Early morning, fly by Helicopter from Hilsa to Simikot. From Simikot airport, you will be continue fly to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj . Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
  
  Accommodation :
  • Overnight stay at Hotel Soaltee or similar .
  • Hilsa to Simikot: 25 minutes flight by Helicopter
  • Simikot to Nepalgunj: 1 hour flight by aircraft
  • Nepalgunj to Kathmandu: 1 hour flight by aircraft

• Day 10 : Departure From Kathmandu.

  Transfer to Tribhuvan International airport for your flight back home.

HEALTH GUIDANCE :

All pilgrimage ( Yatri) are advised to prepare for this Holy Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra well before 3-6 months of yatra date. As a preparation yatri should walk minimum 3 to 5 K.M daily. Beside walking, jogging, running, swimming, joining the health club or Yoga (under a perfect Yoga teacher) will be additional activities which helps a lot to perform holy Kailash Yatra (Parikarama) successfully.

FITNESS CERTIFICATE :

A fitness certificate, issued by a doctor (MBBS) is mandatory one month before of yatra depature date.

Cancellations and Refunds :

If you must cancel your reservation, you must notify us in writing or by FAX. We calculate your refund on the day we receive written cancellation.

Cancellation charges per person :

30 or more days prior to departure Rs 25,000 non refundable.
15 to 30 days prior to the departure 30 % of the tour cost.
07 to 15 days prior to the departure 50 % of tour cost.
07 days prior to departure date 100 % of tour cost

Passport and Visas :

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu Airport . Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients. Please See visa fee details of each country.

Travel Insurance :

Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.
