Meet in Naru Moru town between 11:00am and noon for a final equipment and gear check, then drive 17 km (approximately 30 minutes) to the Naru Moru Park Gate at 2,650 m. After meeting the mountain team and a hot lunch, complete registration before beginning a slow comfortable 10 km trek through montane forest to Met Station Camp at the treeline (3,040 m). In camp expect the traditional 4:00 pm tea, coffee and hot chocolate with cookies and popcorn, sundowner, dinner and overnight camping in 4-season tents.

Wake early and depart Met Station Camp into the treeline and moorland. The day begins with wake at 06:00 and breakfast at 07:00 with a start by 08:00. The route traverses treeline into moorland including the notorious vertical bog, with a hot lunch break at Picnic Rocks en route to Mackinder Camp at 4,300 m. On arrival enjoy a short rest followed by an acclimatization hike to approximately 4,400 m before returning to camp. Afternoon tea is served at 4:00 pm, followed by dinner and overnight in mountaineering camping accommodation.

A later wake and departure into the cold desert zone, traversing the Peak Circuit tarns and high terrain. Wake at 07:00 with breakfast at 07:30 and start by 08:30. The route passes Hut Tarn, Nanyuki Tarn, Emerald Tarn and Man Tarn with views of Hausberg and Oblong Tarn, reaching a high point of approximately 4,650 m. After reaching the high point, descend to Shiptons Camp (4,200 m) for a hot lunch and short rest, having completed roughly half of the Peak Circuit. Afternoon tea is at 4:00 pm, and an early dinner is served in preparation for the summit attempt the next morning.

Summit day beginning in the pre-dawn hours for sunrise on Point Lenana. Wake at 02:00 for a light breakfast and begin the summit ascent, reaching Point Lenana (4,985 m) between 06:00 and 06:40 for sunrise. After summiting descend approximately 4 km toward the southwest, join the Teleki Valley and stop at Mackinder Camp for a full breakfast and short rest. Continue the descent of approximately 10 km toward Met Station Camp with a hot lunch break at Picnic Rocks, arriving in time for 4:00 pm tea, sundowner, dinner and overnight at Met Station Camp.

Final descent from Met Station Camp to the park gate and return to Naru Moru town. Wake at 07:00 with breakfast at 07:30, then complete the final descent toward the Naru Moru Park Gate. Sign out at the gate to exit the park and continue onward to Naru Moru town and your next destination. The expedition is complete upon arrival in town.
