Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sapa Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival: Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa (No Meal)

  Welcomed at Noi Bai International airport by our guide and transferred to your hotel Relax after a long journey before we present you Vietnam daily life with a city walk that commences at he fountain at the north end of Hoan Kiem lake at the southern end of Hang Dao St. Travels through some of the streets of the Old Quarter, highlighting the concept of the ‘36 trade streets’ where each street is named after the original product or service of the individual trade guilds. We see examples of traditional, French and Art Deco architecture. We also visit a communal house and pagoda, the famous Bach Ma Temple and see the house where Ho Chi Minh drafted the Declaration of Independence.
  Free time and take night train around 0845 – 0915pm to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.
  Notes:
  Day- use-hotel before night train will be surcharged at: 17.5USD/pax or 35USD/room only for 2 pax
  The city visit is subject to change depends on your flight time.

• Day 2 : Lao Cai - Sapa (B)

  Arrive at Lao Cai railways station at about 6.30AM and take a drive uphill to the mountainous town of Sapa where the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the color of its hill tribes. Have a rest and breakfast at a local restaurant after a long journey on train.
  Depart at 9:00AM, you are transferred 4km out of Sa Pa to Ma Tra. This valley is close to the town but very quiet and the peoples here are still living their own way without influence of tourism. Walk through for 2 hours through several hamlets of the Hmong scattering on hill-sides. Continue gradually downhill 1 hour to Ta Phin village which is home to Red Dzao people. Car pick up and transfer you back to Sa Pa in the afternoon.
  Night 2: Overnight at your hotel in Sapa.
  Trekking distance: 6km – 3 hours ~ 2/3 paved road, 1/3 off-road
  Level: Easy
  Car transfer: 18km/Drop off at Ma Tra and pick up at Ta Phin

• Day 3 : Sapa Hill Tribe Villages - Lao Cai (B)

  Breakfast at hotel and check out at around 9.00-10.00AM. Drive to Lao Chai Village of Black H’mong people. Another light trek through Muong Hoa Valley with beautiful scenery to Ta Van Village of Dzay ethnic people. Drive back to Sapa for lunch at your own arrangement. A short stop in town for shopping before moving to Lao Cai railways station and take the overnight train back to Hanoi.
  Night 3: Overnight on a 4-berth A/C cabin, soft sleeper on the train back to Hanoi.
  Trekking distance: 4km – 1.5 hour ~ off-road
  Level: Easy
  Car transfer: 10km/Drop off at Lao Chai and pick up at Ta Van

• Day 4 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) Local Guide On Board

  Arrive in Hanoi very early in the morning (round 04:40am) you will be guided to mini hotel, just some minutes walk from Hanoi Railway Station. Check in your room for freshen up and have breakfast before pick up for Halong trip (08:00am).
  Picked up by shuttle bus and take 3.5 hour transfer to Halong Bay with one stop en route. Upon arrival, embark on a junk /boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay. While the junk cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches on the bay, having fresh seafood lunch on boat. Stop for a while for an excursing to explore one of the most beautiful grottos among others and swimming, if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (service available free of charge upon request and in good weather only). Overnight on board.

• Day 5 : Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Brunch)- No Guide To Hanoi

  In the morning, doing more cruises through the Bay, passing by many other rocks, Islets as well as fishing villages. Brunch will be served on board before disembarking time.
  Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Free time then on.

• Day 6 : Hanoi City- Departure (B)

  After breakfast at hotel, then time is for shopping. Check out before lunch time and take a private transfer Noi Bai Airport for flight back home or next destination.

A. CANCELLATION POLICY:
The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost
Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)
Child from 1- 4 yrs: Free of charge if sharing bed with parents
Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
