The Kachari Ruins

The ruins of Kachari are a must-see attraction in Nagaland. It is a mysterious tourist site that attracts visitors like a magnet attracts iron. These remnants are the mushroom-shaped pillars that were built during the reign of Dimasa dynasty in the 13th century. All dome pillars measure 8 feet to 10 feet in height and are said to stand in a position like that of pawns on a chess board. They are visited on an extensive scale because of their mysterious architecture.
