Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : 8:00 AM Departure from Delhi

  Our tour driver will pick you up from IGI Airport/Railway Station or your hotel in Delhi or Gurugram in an airconditioned SUV/Sedan. Yamuna Express Highway connects Agra to Delhi. The journey is extremely comfortable and you can tell your tour driver to stop on the way if you want. It will just take around 3 hours provided weather and traffic conditions are normal to reach Agra.
  
  11:30 AM
  Once you are in Agra city, you will check-into a chosen hotel Otherwise your friendly and knowledgeable Government approved guide will take you to the majestic Agra fort first. Probably the best fort in India! Built by the third mighty Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. It is spread over a whopping area of 2.5 sqr km.
  
  01:15 PM – Lunch at Sheroes Cafe
  Once you are done with Agra fort straightway you can proceed for sumptuous lunch at Sheroes Café. This is a safe and good place.
  
  3:30 – Visit the Taj Mahal
  Now will proceed to visit the Taj Mahal with your guide. Your guide will give you a brief commentary about the Tajmahal. This visit to the Tajmahal is like a dream for many people. The marble minarets and shimmering walls, majestic towers with walls inlaid with semi-precious stones of the ultimate monument of romance awaits you.
  
  6:00 PM – Return back to the hotel
  After seeing the Taj Mahal you can either choose to visit the local bazaars or you can retire to your hotel. Rest for a while.
  
  07:30 PM
  Proceed for dinner in a nice and safe local restaurant. Overnight stay in your chosen hotel.

• Day 2 : Sunrise view of Taj Mahal

  After a good night’s sleep you will be up early this morning to see the incomparable TAJ MAHAL at day break. It is just brilliant. The Taj mahal at sunrise is often on many peoples ultimate wish list. Taj never fails to suprise beholders with its astounding beauty. Sunrise timing varies as per the weather. So the time you visit will be as per the season you opt to book this tour. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan to celebrate his love for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is not open for public viewing on Fridays. Seeing the sun rise over this amazing monument, you will watch in aweas Taj colour slowly changes as the sun shimmers against it. Your accompanying guide will tell you the stories and facts about the Taj mahal Once you are through seeing the Taj you will return back to the hotel for a scrumptious breakfast.

  11:00 AM – Visit Baby Taj
  Post breakfast you will visit the very popular Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. As it has been built on the same lines as the Taj Mahal it is also referred to as ‘Baby Taj’. It was built by Noor Jahan the daughter in law of Akbar in 1622. According to architectural experts it’s a perfect garden mausoleum.
  
  12:30 PM – Walk at the Rajpur local market
  The objectivity of this walk is to get you introduced with the local Indian bazaars, the type of local shops, and the buying behavior of locals. This will give you a glimpse of the local culture. Now you have free time for personal activity. Ask your tour guide to take you shopping. Agra is known for marble inlay work artifacts, hand-knotted Mughal carpets, etc
  
  04:30 PM – Drive Back to Delhi from Agra
  The tour driver will take you back to Delhi. Once you are in Delhi you will be dropped at your chosen spot in Delhi or Gurugram or at the airport as per your preference. This marks the end of your Exotic Agra Overnight Tour.
