This 6 days Amboseli Lake Nakuru Masai Mara lodge Kenya safari starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi, Kenya. Day 1 : Amboseli
Meet and greet services on arrival in the morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick up from your hotel at 0800hrs by our driver-guide. Leaving the bustling city of Nairobi, we travel south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa highest peak. We arrive at our lodge in time for lunch, relax at leisure and later on embark on evening game drive in the beautiful Amboseli National Park. We have dinner and overnight at either Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, Oltukai Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Day 2 : Amboseli
This day is set aside exploring Amboseli National Park with early morning game drives where the light is perfect at Mount Kilimanjaro background which offers good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground. We return to the lodge for breakfast. We will be free the rest of the morning may be enjoying a dip in the pool or game viewing from the lodge terrace. We have lunch at the lodge or camp and in the afternoon have an option to visit the Masai village (Optional extra). We later explore an evening major game drives. We return to the same lodge in Amboseli, for a night under starry skies. There are also host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.
Day 3 : Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast as we exit Amboseli National Park viewing game en-route with the last picturesque of Amboseli and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. We drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries en route arriving Lake Nakuru Lake Nakuru National Park famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingoes. The birds throng on Lake Nakuru one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park area. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. Lunch is served at the lodge followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at either Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4 : Masai Mara
Our Day 4 safari starts with breakfast at the lodge. After morning breakfast we embark on our road passing the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as we head across the valley to Narok. We continue with our journey across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching our next game viewing destination in the world most famous Masai Mara which plays host to the world greatest natural spectacle, the greatest dramatic wildebeest migration on earth which happens from July through October every year. We arrive at the lodge and have lunch at leisure before embarking on a thrilling evening game drive in one of the finest wildlife havens on earth. We then return back to the lodge where it is time for dinner. Dinner and Overnight at either Fairmont Mara Safari Club, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, Keekorok Lodge, Mara Simba Lodge or Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 5 : Masai Mara
We spend the whole day exploring Masai Mara with early morning, mid morning and afternoon game drives where we will have the opportunity of spotting the BIG 5 including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffaloes. Over 450 species of birds have been identified in the park among them 57 species of birds of prey. We will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in the park. We will also have the option visit to local Masai village at an extra cost or Hot Air Balloon ride at $450 per person. All meals and overnight stay at Fairmont Mara Safari Club, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, Keekorok Lodge, Mara Simba Lodge or Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6 : Nairobi
We wake up early with a cup of hot coffee or Kenyan Tea, then proceed for the early morning game drive to experience early morning hunt for the big cats, if lucky enough we will be able to capture the Lion Kills as most of the time they do make a kill in the morning before the sunrise. We have the opportunity of feeling the serenity of Masai Mara as well as the beauty of the sunrise which reveals the back drop of the Masai Mara which means the dotted hills in Maa Language. We later return to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter we depart Masai Mara with the last picturesque of the MARA viewing game en-route with picnic lunch or have hot lunch en-route while travelling through the breath-taking landscapes arriving Nairobi late afternoon. You will be dropped at either your hotel or airport to connect your home bound flight depending on the arrangements where the safari ends.
