  • Day 1 : Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

    Description :

    Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, Adventure Mountain Explore Treks (AME) will greet you and assist you to the Hotel. We can meet later on that day (if possible) or the next day to take you to our head office to brief you on your upcoming Trek with us. At that time we will introduce you to your trekking guide and Sherpa. If your flight arrives on time, we will take you to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening we can do this the next day.

    Day 2 : Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)

    • Pashupatinath Temple

    Description :

    After breakfast, you will begin a city tour of Kathmandu where you will see the main attractions of the valley. On this tour you will visit the Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (the old palace). After finishing the city tour, we will meet again to check your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, down jacket and trekking boots). This evening will be spent in Kathmandu.

    Day 3 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft)/35 minutes flight and 4 hours walk

    Description :

    We drive to airport early in the morning as per flight departure time to take our flight to lukla (2,800m). It is scenic flight about 35 minutes which gives you a perfect site of mountain range. Once you are at Lukla airport, meet our other trekking member there and breakfast at the lodge. By the time prepare luggage for the Porters then walking starts through the stone paved trails towards Bhaisekharka. It is few up downs to get in to Phakding passing through plenty of prayer Rocks (Mani in local language). After getting in to the lodge at Phakding, fresh up and short walk to the village or hike up to the Gompa to get acclimatize. Stay overnight at the lodge.

    Day 4 : Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440m/11,283ft)/ 5-6 hours walk

    Description :

    After hot breakfast at your lodge, the trail leads towards the suspension bridge and easy uphill to the Monju from where Sagarmath National Park begins. After short National Park formalities, drop down to the river, cross another suspension bridge and continue walk to the high Hilary Bridge at the bottom of the hill. After the bridge the trail leads uphill to the Namche Bazzar. On the way you will have great view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Kusum Khangru and more with beautiful valley. Stay overnight at the Lodge.

    Day 5 : Acclimatize day

    Description :

    Today you explore the Museum, visit Khumjung village and Khongde village where you can enjoy the views of Mt. Everest and surroundings peaks with Sherpa culture. You can also visit Thame which is old Sherpa village as an option. Remaining of the day you can explore Namche Bazzar where you can use Internet, visit National Park head office, Museum and monastery as per your interest and time. Stay overnight at Namche.

    The Everest Base Camp Trek is an extremely popular and famous trekking trail, as people from all over the world come here looking to be totally absorbed in this exotic corner of the world while being awestruck by magnificent views of Mt. Everest and its sibling mountain ranges. This trek takes you to the Base Camp (5,320m/17,450ft) of the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848m/29,021ft).

    The Everest Base Camp Trek is indeed the journey of a lifetime.     Mt. Everest Base Camp is a glacier moraine that does not have views of Mount Everest itself, but instead has great views of the Khumbu ice fall and the surrounding mountains. Another highlight during the trek to Mount Everest is the hike to Kalapathar (Black Rock), which has the most dramatic views of Mt. Everest, Pumari, Nuptse, and many other peaks. It has breathtaking sights for tourists of the Khumbu Himalaya region; the views of the valleys and glaciers are simply spectacular. The Everest Base Camp hike begins with the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, leading to the Dudh koshi valley along with the Sherpa villages.

    The powerfully spiritual prayer rocks and impressive suspension bridges are but a few of the numerous phenomena you’ll find yourself capturing through photographs. Children in the local villages will often rush over to make you stop and say the classic Nepali greeting “Namaste”. The beginning phase of the Everest walk is culturally rich, allowing you to meet the local people as you experience their warm hospitality.

If you cancel your trip that you will loss of money you paid and applies to all cancelled reservations. The date of trip cancellation is the date on which the written cancellation is received by AME Treks. The loss of money paid is as follows, per person: 60 days or more prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit 7 days before trip depart- Loss of full payment. Once you start the trip and need to come early due to your health condition and other issues (from your end) the cash is not refundable. No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. Refunds will be at the discretion of Adventure Mountain Explore Treks if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized. Please note that these conditions are subject to change.
