  • Day 1 : Nairobi

    Description :

    Land into Jomo Kenyatta International airport met with your driver guide and given complimentary safari hat BEST way to start your African safari in Kenya .
    The drive to your hotel is about 15 minutes depending on the traffic.
    Arrival into your hotel –Eka Hotel www.ekahotel.com where you will be assisted by our staff to check in. hotel porters will assist collect your luggage from your vehicle and welcome you the reception where you will be assisted in checking in and quickly assisted to your hotel room.

    Have a relaxed leisure the rest of the day.

    Optional activities in Nairobi can be done at extra cost.
    Visit to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage at the Nairobi Game Park headquarters. The elephants are fed from 11am to noon. Visit these and other endangered animals like the black rhino.
    Enjoy a visit to the Giraffe Center where you can hand-feed the giraffes. Then stop at the Karen Blixen house, once lived in by Karen, and made world familiar as the movie set for “Out of Africa” with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. (Try to see the movie again!) Ms. Blixen’s good works, among and for the local people, have made her into a legend. If you are interested in the local jewelry you can visit the Kazuri Bead Factory, it's an all-woman craft workshop that is renowned for making fabulous clay beads and jewelry. The Factory is a co-operative enterprise founded several decades ago by an Englishwoman who wanted to help single mothers become self-supporting. The clay beads are as amazing as the story of the Factory’s evolution.

    Day 2 : Lake Nakuru National Park

    0800 hrs - After breakfast you will meet up with your guide and head off to Lake Nakuru National Park
    Stop at the Great Rift Valley to admire the scenery as you make your way through rural Kenya onto the Rift Valley, an area boasting quaint little villages which dot the traditional African landscape. Prepare yourself for you first glimpse of Mount Longonot.
    Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch.
    Flamingo hill tented lodge 4* http://www.flamingohillcamp.com -The Flamingo Hill Camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley of Kenya.
    After lunch at leisure
    1600 hrs - proceed on for afternoon game drive - Lake Nakuru is famous for the big populations of Flamingos that number hundreds / thousands during dry season. The Park also contains Kenya’s largest population of rhinos. The surface of the lake occupies about a third of the park. The lake supports a dense bloom of the blue-green Cyanophyte Spirulina platensis from which it derives its color. It is a food source for flamingos. The lake is fringed by alkaline swamps with areas of sedge, cyprus laevigatus and typha marsh along the river inflows and springs. The surrounding areas support a dry transitional savanna with lake margin grasslands. Wildlife - Birds: Up to 1.5 million flamingos plus 450 other species of birds. Fauna includes Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, leopard, lion, rhino, water buck, impala, gazelle, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wild cat, reed buck and golden cat. Restocked mammals include the lion, black and white rhino and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.

    Day 3 : Lake Naivasha

    0900 hrs - After breakfast you will meet up with your guide and head off to Naivasha with short game drive enroute.
    Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch.

    Afternoon at leisure - you can choose optional activities at extra cost.
    You can go for excitingly unique boat ride excursion to the Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary whilst in the Lake Naivasha area today. Admire the scenery as you take a short boat trip from the mainland to this dynamic location where you’ll have the opportunity to get in some wildlife viewing at a very relaxed pace. As there is little to no threat from some of the “Big 5” predators, the various species of wildlife, birdlife and flora live quite freely here, providing visitors with some great photo opportunities. Some of the many mammals that can be seen here include zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, and hippos. Resident bird species include herons, black cranes, lily trotters, ospreys and fish eagles. - Boat ride + visit to cresent island - USD 65 PP

    Day 4 : Maasai Mara National Reserve

    0800 hrs - After breakfast - Your guide will drive you from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara, enroute you will have two stops to stretch yourself and enjoy the wonderful rural scenery.
    Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch.

    1600 hrs - After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee - Head out this afternoon, for an exciting game viewing adventure. Search some of the area`s wildlife hot-spots determined by your driver guide, as they`ve learned and now understand the games daily routines through tracking. Some wildlife is more difficult than others to spot, for instance the Leopard. These spotted cats blends almost seamlessly into the tall grass and shrubbery, and are even more challenging to spot up in their favorite hangout, the trees. Your guide will take you to nearby watering holes, where on a hot day, you might spot many bird and wildlife species, including the elusive cats.
    1830 hrs - After game drive head back to your lodge.

    Day 5 : Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Description :

    0630hrs - After enjoying a cup of hot Kenyan tea and coffee - Head out this morning, for an exciting early morning game viewing adventure.
    Return back in time for breakfast then after breakfast you will have time at leisure.
    Mid morning at leisure you can choose to visit local masai village at extra cost.
    Enjoy your lunch at the lodge.
    1600 hrs - After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee, On today’s afternoon game drive the choice is up to you: search for the Big 5 or expand your horizons to discover something different.
    Masai Mara Game Reserve provides the necessary requirements to house a wide range of animal species. The most recognized are known worldwide as the African Big 5 which includes the African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Leopard, and the King of the beasts, the Lion. The term Big 5 was coined by big-game hunters as these species were the most difficult and dangerous to track and hunt. Subsequently the term was adopted by the tourism industry for marketing purpose, spinning a web of positivity opposed to the negative effect portrait by the original terminology. Numerous other species of bird and wildlife inhabit this dynamic location including Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Giraffes, Zebras, Vultures, Cranes, Eagles, Falcons, and Ostriches.
    1830 hrs - After game drive head back to your lodge.

    All time safaris Ltd Cancellation & No Show Reservations/Bookings that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers of participants (hereinafter collectively called CANCELLATION) are subject to cancellation and No Show fees. The scale of charges, expressed as a percentage of the tour prices, is as follows: More than 8 week notice    Deposit refunded less 5% handling fee •    8 weeks – 7 week notice   15% •    Less than 6week notice    25% •    Less than 5 week notice    50% •    Less than 4 week notice    100%  

    Should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave prior to its completion, no tour fare refund can be made. (Please note that if the reason for the cancellation falls within the terms of any holiday insurance policy, which you hold, then the insurance company, subject to the terms of your insurance will normally refund any such charges to you). e)    Accommodation Substitution should the case arise whereby accommodation is not available at the quoted hotels/Lodges/Tented camps alternative accommodation will be provided at hotels/lodges/tented camps of similar caliber. f)    Refund whilst the company uses its best endeavors to ensure that all anticipated accommodation is available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature whatsoever against the company for a refund either in whole or part, if any accommodation or excursion is unavailable, or the passenger was unable to use this service. g)    Diet Guests with special dietary requirements are advised to warn us well in advance before your departure. h)    Luggage  Please keep your luggage light – soft duffel bags are preferable.  Luggage is limited to 15kg per person on internal local flights. i)     Passport and visas the onus is upon the client to ensure that passport and visas are valid for the countries listed.  The company, its staff and its agents cannot be held liable for any visas etc. not held by the clients.                                j)    Photography the Company reserves the right without further notice to make use of any photography or film taken on safari by our staff for general purposes without payment or permission. k)    Check-in and check-out times Rooms are available for check in at 1200 Noon on the scheduled arrival date.  Rooms should be vacated by 1000Hrs on the scheduled departure date. Special consideration may be extended on departure time subject to anticipated arrivals. l)    Changes to Schedule although every effort is made to adhere to schedules it should be borne in mind that the Company reserves the right, and in fact is obliged, to occasionally change routes and accommodations on safaris as dictated by changing conditions.  Such conditions may be brought by force majeure” or statutory directive, seasonal rainfall on bush tracks, airfields and game areas, or game migrations from region to another or reservation problems, etc. However, the company shall make all reasonable efforts in resolving the situation not limited to offering alternative m)    Airline Clause Flight fares, taxes and schedules are subject to change without prior notification by the airlines. The company will not be held liable for these changes and delays. The airlines cannot be held liable for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their plane or conveyance.  The passengers’ tickets in use by the airline or by other carriers concerned when issued, shall constitute a sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets and or passengers.  Please note that the company subcontracts the flying services to independent charter operations, and they are responsible for the flying. The same will apply to train services. n)    Guide Substitution If one of our guides is unable to take a safari due to illness or other reasons, we reserve the right to substitute with another guide. o)    Prices we will do our outmost to keep the prices as quoted or published.  Should fluctuation in statutory taxes, exchange rates, etc. force increases on us; we reserve the right to surcharge without notice, up to maximum of 10% of the tour rate. p)    Participant Incompatibility The company may, at its discretion and without liability of its cost to itself, at any time cancel or terminate the passengers booking and in particular without limiting the generality of the forgoing, it shall be entitled to do in the event of illness or illegal or incompatible behavior of the passenger, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund. q)    Publicity Materials The company reserves the right to use any photograph or film taken during the safari by any appointed representative of The Company, for the use in The Company’s advertising or publicity material, without obtaining further consent from the client prior to the departure of the client’s appointed safari r)    Fitness The client acknowledges that the safari can sometimes be demanding and it’s his/her responsibility to ensure that he/she is sufficiently fit and able to embark on the tour. s)    Authority of the Safari leader Clients will accept the authority and decisions of the safari leader appointed by the Company.  The final decision on the itinerary, accommodation and conduct on the safari will be taken by the safari leader appointed by the Company. t)    Liability •    the company is insured against legal liabilities arising from any injuries which might be received by passengers in its vehicles. The Company’s liability to passengers carried in its vehicles is governed by the laws of Kenya and no other Country, and all claims subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

    •    The Company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors to carry out all or part of the Services agreed to be supplied and in the event of the exercise of such right the terms of clause relating to The Company is subject to the booking conditions and cancellation provisions of the Travel organizer or the airline concerned.

    •    Neither the Company, nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of The Company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever and without restricting the generality of errors or omission contained in the brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmations or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness or death whether occasioned by the negligence or not.

    •    In addition, The Company shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any tour or the reminder thereof or make alteration on route, accommodation, price or other details and in the event of any tour being rendered impossible, illegal or inadvisable by the weather, avalanches, strike, war, government or interference or any other cause whatsoever.  The extra expense incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger.

    •    Please be aware that these safaris may take you into close contact with wild animals.  Attacks by wild animals are rare, but no safari into the African Wilderness can guarantee that this will not occur. Neither the company, nor its employees, nor its agents can be held responsible for any injury or incident on the safari. Governing Law all terms and conditions of this agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance to the laws of Kenya, and any litigation necessary to resolve disputes between the parties shall be field in the courts located in Kenya where such a dispute cannot be solved through arbitration.
