Nagarjun Day Hiking Tour offers you an awesome nature walk for the day. The day hiking tour takes you to the Nagarjun forest in Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park in Kathmandu. This hiking area lies closer to the downtown Kathmandu but yet offers an experience of the wild into nature.

It is an all uphill hiking adventure to reach the top of the Jamacho Hill at the elevation of 2130 meters above sea level. Walking through a dense forest all the way up to the top brings you the chance to enjoy nature and the wild. Chances are high that you encounter wild animals along the way up and down. When you reach the top of the hill after about 2.5 hours of walk, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Kathmandu valley in addition to the Himalayan peaks at distance. It is certainly an awesome joy to watch the valley view and the surroundings from that elevation.

You will also find a small and beautiful Buddhist monastery on the top. The Jamacho monastery has a beautiful history and significance that is connected with the existence of the Kathmandu valley.
