The flight stops at Lukla for fuel purpose. Lukla is a fascinating Sherpa valley which is also known as the gateway to Everest. Then, the flight continues flying toward Kalapathar which is our final destination.
The landscape of Khumbu glacier, Gorakshep and Tengboche make your tour more delightful. You will be given 5-10 minutes time to stay at Kalapathar because staying for more time may cause altitude sickness. On your way back, you will be given 25 minutes at Syangboche for breakfast where you can observe glorious views of mountains. Further, we stop at Lukla for fueling and fly directly back to Kathmandu.

6:30 AM: Chopper Flight from TIA to Lukla Airport [45 Mins]
The Everest base camp Helicopter landing tour begins from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Flying over the Kathmandu Valley, the lush hills and beautiful landscapes greet us. After flying for around 45 minutes, we land at Lukla Airport.
7:15 AM: Break for 30 Mins [Fueling purpose]
At Lukla, we take a short break in order to refuel the helicopter for the next flight to the Everest Base Camp. In the meantime, you can relish the sights of the Himalayas surrounding Lukla. The views of the Himalayas like Thamserku (6608m) and Kangtega (6685m).
7:45 AM: Again Chopper Flight from Lukla to EBC [25 Mins]
Continuing the tour, we get on the helicopter once again and head for the Everest Base Camp. Leaving the hills around Lukla, the flight leads us through the hills and mountains. We also fly over the Khumbu Glacier before reaching the Everest Base Camp. On the way, we can enjoy the sights of the Mt. Everest (8848m) as well.
8:10 AM: Explore the Everest Base Camp and Hiking around EBC for 2 Hrs
As we land at the base camp, the chilly breezes welcome us. The views of the Himalayas from the base camp are mesmerizing, to say the least. We hike around the base camp for around 2 hours and witness numerous mountains. The Khumbu Glacier is also a great sight to witness.
10 AM: Chopper flight from EBC to Kathmandu via Lukla
Bidding farewell to the Mt. Everest (8848m) and the Himalayas in Everest region, we return to Kathmandu. The flight is similar in nature as the ones before as we awe at the sights of the mind-blowing sceneries. With a bagful of overwhelming emotions and pride, we head to the hotel in Kathmandu
