Day 1 : Vienna International Airport - Hotel (Vienna)
On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by one of our representatives outside the exit gate. Just keep a look out for a friendly man
holding a placard with your name on it. The representative will take you to your car, from where you’ll be whisked off to your
hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you please.
Day 2 : City Tour & Schönbrunn (Vienna)
This tour will give you an overall impression of the most significant historical sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show
you
numerous grand buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world famous
art
treasures of the Habsburgs and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the MuseumsQuartier, the Hofburg (the former
Habsburg winter residence), the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of this tour will be a visit of the
showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburg family and home of Maria Theresia. On the way
back
to the opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, which houses the largest and the
most
precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world.
Day 3 : Vienna Woods - Mayerling (Vienna)
Vienna Woods – Mayerling
A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman
City of
Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting
lodge,
(visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian
Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. We then pass
the
Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna
Woods
and return to Vienna. As a great addition to this tour, we recommend the new musical "Rudolf-Affaire Mayerling" at Raimund
Theater.

Day 12 : Eagle's Nest Half Day Trip from Salzburg (Salzburg)
A special kind of adventure awaits you on our excursion to Bavaria - Berchtesgaden. Past the hunting castle Hellbrunnwe, cross
the Austrian-Bavarian border. Along the Königsee River Valley, through the Bavarian mountains and along romantic farmhouses
and Obersalzberg, we arrive at the highlight of our journey.
A bus and elevator will bring us to the Eagle's Nest. The buses to the Eagle's Nest are equipped with special engines and brakes
to transport you from the Obersalzberg to the Eagle's Nest. The adventurous bus ride along the steep rock walls and deep
gorges takes about 20 minutes.
During the journey you will have a splendid view up to the "Hoher Goell" and across the snowcapped peaks of the Bavarian
mountains. With the elevator (length 365 ft) you enter the Eagle's Nest (5,000 feet). On the way down contented faces are living
proof that it was a successful excursion and many of the guests will return again and again to the Eagle's Nest.
Afterwards you have the chance to regain your strength with some Bavarian specialties.

Day 13 : Salzburg Tour (Salzburg)
On our way to Mozart's town of birth, you will become acquainted with the beautiful Salzkammergut landscape with its mountains
and its numerous lakes, where the Emperor Franz Joseph and his family used to spend their holidays.
Skirting Lake Fuschl and Lake Wolfgang, we will reach Salzburg where you will have time for lunch. The afternoon will be
dedicated to a stroll through the old city, showing you the most important sights of this old Bishop's Seat. These are the
Cathedral, the Festival Hall, St. Peter's Abbey Church and its graveyard (tomb of Mozart's sister Nannerl).
We will see Mozart's birth place in the Getreidegasse. The song Edelweiss from the movie Sound of Music will come to your
memory while passing the horse-pond and, from the gardens of Mirabell-Palace, you will have a marvelous view of the
Hohensalzburg Fortress.
