Today after breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Vienna by train. Arrive & check in at hotel. Later in the evening proceed for Schonbrunn concert with dinner. Enjoy this unique and charming experience in the Schonbrunn Palace, one of the most significant cultural monuments in Austria. The Cafe' Restaurant Residenz, which used to be the imperial palace kitchen of Schonbrunn Palace is located at the Court of Honour, next door to the main entrance of the palace. Here you will enjoy a 3 course seasonal dinner. After dinner enjoy a classical concert at the Orangerie Schonbrunn. This very professionally performed classical concert is in two halves with orchestra playing Mozart in the first half and Strauss in the second. The orchestra comprises 18 musicians with a conductor, 2 opera singers and a pair of ballet dancers. Smart casual dress is recommended (jeans and trainers are not accepted). Today morning is free for leisure. Later in the afternoon proceed for Budapest food & wine walking tour. This tour is designed to give you an overview of Hungarian food and wines while you try local goulash and experience wine tasting. Our food, wine and cultural walking tour begins at The Central Market Hall - one of Europe's largest and most spectacular indoor markets - and continues through the charming nearby neighborhood. Be sure to come with an appetite. At the Central Market Hall we will begin getting acquainted with Hungarian cuisine through the great variety and abundance of ingredients (which are mostly local and seasonal) on display. We will discuss the history of the building, the culture of eating and drinking in Hungary, and the everyday cooking and eating habits. The tour also includes an introduction to Hungarian paprika and will reveal why it is so special, how Hungarian cooks use it, and how it is produced. After tasting a few carefully selected things at the market, we will head out to the surrounding neighborhood. Lunch will be at a traditional restaurant, where we will taste a special Hungarian spirit as well. No day in Budapest is complete without dessert, so we will also stop at a cafe. The tour will end with a tasting of three quintessential Hungarian wines. This tour will give you a taste of the traditional side of Hungarian cuisine, as well as the modern artisan producers and specialty food shops of the area. We try our very best to cater for dietary requirements but due to local food customs we cannot guarantee that this will be possible in all cases.
