Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pick up and Transfer

  Our driver will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Wilson airport for the morning flight departing for the Masai Mara at 1000hrs. On arrival, at Ol Kiombo airstrip, our Maasai professional safari guides will meet and transfer you to Basecamp Masai Mara as you enjoy the game drive while enroute. On arrival at the camp, we shall give you a brief recap of your safari, check in and lunch. Relax at your tent as you enjoy the panoramic view of the savannah before you depart for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara with its open rolling grasslands and abundance of wildlife is renowned for its good game viewing. It sustains all of the “Big Five” elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard as well an astonishing wealth of other game. Return to the camp just before sunset to freshen up and join our Masai friends at the campfire for Masai stories and sundowners. We shall serve dinner at our dining area as from 1930hrs and later retire to your tents for your first night on safari! Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Masai Mara.

• Day 2 : Maasai Drive

  Have your morning tea or coffee in the dining or by your tent. Our guide take you for an early morning game drive and watch the savannah waking up. Return to camp for a full breakfast, relax by your tent, read a book on the veranda or watch animals from the viewing tower. We serve you lunch in the open-air restaurant or the garden, treat yourself with a siesta and prepare for another game drive in the afternoon. Return after sunset for sundowners and storytelling by the Maasai at the campfire. Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Masai Mara.

• Day 3 : Wilderness

  Go for an early morning game drive and return back to the camp for a well deserved breakfast. Refresh yourself, relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the Savannah. Have lunch in the open skies then check out and have a leisure drive to Wilderness Camp, Mara Naboisho. We shall brief you at the camp then have time to rest and join the Masai warriors at the camp fire for sundowners. Dinner will be served at the main dining tent or outside under the African sky (weather permitting). Dinner and overnight at Wilderness Camp, Mara Naboisho.

• Day 4 : Walking safari

  Morning wake-up call in time for a Walking Safari - our most popular walk. Feel the cool air of the morning and watch the sunrise and meet with your gold or silver rated guide and proceed for your walking safari. Take pleasure in trekking the wild savannah with the Masai. Learn how to interpret tracks and subtle signs of the wildlife before returning to the camp in time for a well-deserved breakfast. Relax by your tent to await another afternoon adventure on foot. In the evening, settle by the campfire for story telling by the Maasai guides. Dinner and overnight at Wilderness Camp.

• Day 5 : Game Drive

  Morning tea or coffee, early morning game drive, watch the savannah waking up, return to camp for a full breakfast. You will check out of your room after breakfast and then our guide drive over to Eagle View, Mara Naboisho where lunch will be served. Relax on your private veranda as you listen to the sounds of the Savannah and later join us for the afternoon game drive. Enjoy your sundowner around the campfire on our viewing platform. Dinner and overnight at Eagle View, Mara Naboisho.

• Day 6 : Morning Game drive

  Early morning game drive allows you the chance to enjoy the interaction of wild animals in the magnificent Savannah settings. Mara Naboisho has the largest density of Lions in Africa, you will see herds of plains game and spot many marvelous birds. Return to the Camp for lunch at the dinning overlooking the Savannah. Afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon set for a game drive in the Conservancy then return to the Camp in time for dinner. Join our Maasai guides at the Camp fire for thrilling stories about the Savannah and culture of the Masai community. Dinner and overnight at Eagle View Mara Naboisho.

  • Meals & Drinks : All meals

• Day 7 : Game drive on way to airstrip

  Have breakfast and then depart on a game viewing drive en-route to Olseki airstrip to connect with the 1100hrs flight to Nairobi where our driver will be waiting to transfer you to JKIA for your flight back home.
