Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts like Kashmir shawls and also dried fruits.
Gulmarg Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramulla district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is situated in the Pir Panjal Range in the western Himalayas. Originally called Gauri Marg (गौरी मार्ग) meaning (the path of Devi Gauri), which was later on changed to Gulmarg by Yusuf Shah of Chak Dynasty.

Pahalgam Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen. Sonmarg (translation: "Meadow of Gold") is a hill station in Ganderbal district in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Sonmarg gives rise to The Three Sisters (Kashmir). In its vicinity lies the great Himalayan glaciers of Kashmir Valley namely Kolhoi Glacier and Machoi Glacier with some peaks of above 5,000 m: Sirbal Peak, Kolhoi Peak, Amarnath Peak and Machoi Peak.. It is a popular tourist destination, nestled within the imposing Himalayan peaks.The drive to Sonmarg passes Nallah Sindh, a major tributary of the Jehlum River in the Kashmir valley. It is upwards of sixty miles long valley and deep rock-grit gorge to open grassy meadow land and village-dotted slopes.

Day 1

Arrival in Srinagar Deluxe Houseboat

Dal Lake

Upon arrival at the airport.You will be met by our representative. He will assist and transfer to your Deluxe houseboat. Afternoon free for leisure. In the evening a romantic Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. (Shikara ride on direct payment basis.)Srinagar is the summer seasonal capital of Jammu &Kashmir. Srinagar to Pahalgam. ( 98 km / 4 hours.)

After breakfast houseboat check out and Proceed to Pahalgam. ‘Valley of Shepherds’ On the way visit Avantipur ruins which is 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu Avantipur was bounded by king Avantivarman. Nishat Bagh ‘Garden of Pleasure’ built by Asif Khan in 1632,Shalimar Bagh ‘Abode of Love’ built by Jehangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan in 1619 and Chashme Shahi ‘The Royal Spring’ The graceful garden and Shankaracharaya Temple. Enjoy Shikara ride on immensely beautiful Dal Lake where you visit island of Char chinar, Nehru park and Floating market. Free time for shopping. Overnight Stay at Srinagar. Srinagar to Sonmarg to Srinagar ( 168 km / 8 hours.)

Enjoy a pony ride on the glacier (Pony can be hired directly) Scenic beauty on horseback leisurely stroll. Return back to your hotel. Overnight Stay at Srinagar. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner).

Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the World’s highest 18 hole Golf Course you can enjoy a Cable car ride ‘Gondola’ up to the Affarwat snow point. Have fun at the snow point.
