Package Overview

On this safari you will be visiting three sights which are interesting with different feels...i.e. Tarangire National Park which have got no difference from Serengeti National Park. Ngorongoro Conservation area, which is home to the wonderful caldera i.e. the Ngorongoro Crater. And Lake Manyara National park. For 4 days you will experience as well the Mto wa Mbu village to get to know Tanzania cultural tribes. Get to know more information about village life etc.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

  Day 1: Pick up from Arusha, drive to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2 hours to the gate. Tarangire National Park is particularly special due to its large elephant population, its unique baobab trees, and its diverse birdlife. The park is also known for its high concentration of wildlife during the dry season, as animals migrate towards the Tarangire River in search of water. Lunch will be picnic lunch served at a picnic site. P.M. game drive enroute to your camp for hot shower, before dinner and overnight at Conserve Tarangire Camp. (Full board)

• Day 2 : LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

  After breakfast from Conserve Tarangire Camp at around 06:30A.M. drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park showcases diverse landscapes, each offering unique beauty. The park's scenery is rich and varied, from the lush groundwater forest teeming with wildlife to the vast open grassy plains and the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment. Lunch will be picnic lunch at a picnic site. P.M. game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Later after lunch you will continue with game drive. Dinner and overnight at Karatu Pamoja Villa Lodge. • Day 3 : Ngorongoro Conservation area.

  Early morning game drive at Pamoja Villa Farm Lodge at 06:30 A.M. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area; descend onto the crater floor for a full day game drive at this wonderful caldera. Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. Due to its enclosed nature, the Ngorongoro Crater has effectively formed its own ecosystem. He Ngorongoro crater and surrounding areas within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area are home to a variety of wildlife species, including Elephants, Black rhino, Giraffe, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Impalas, Thomson, among others. Picnic lunches along the Ngoitoktok hippo pool. P.M. game drive at the crater floor...before ascend to the rim of the crater and drive back to Pamoja Villa Farm lodge. (Full board)

• Day 4 : MTO WA MBU VILLAGE

  After breakfast you will drive to Mto wa Mbu village; Mto Wa Mbu, situated on the main road before Kratu town, surrounded by breathtaking scenery is believed to be home of representatives of all Tanzania's 120 tribal groups. This melting pot of cultures is home to around 20000 people, that form a flourishing farming community. Observe their farms, milling machines, schools, markets and churches. Visit the village banana plantation and a youth art group, where you'll see different painting techniques. Enter a workshop watching skilful members of the Makonde tribe carve detailed figurines, masks and household objects out of wood.
  Do visit a local ‘bar’ to try Mbege. A traditional banana and millet beer is brewed and drunk mainly by the Chagga tribe. After a brief refreshment don't miss the bustling local market. Take in the intoxicating scents of spices, and feast your eyes on colourful fruit and vegetable stalls. Your guide is from the village, so seize the opportunity to see the community through their eyes and ask detailed questions. Thereafter you will return to Arusha then proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home
