Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrival And Cultural Orientation (phuentsholing To Thimphu)

    Assuming Guests arrives early morning
    Travel to Thimphu with sightseeing and photographs on the way
    Travel time would be 6 to 7 hours with breaks in-between (Few segments of itinerary will change depending on the arrival of guests to the entry point)

    Evening (5:30 PM – 7:00 PM)
    Orientation Session: “Welcome to Drukyul – Understanding Bhutan’s Spirit and the Days Ahead.”
    A cultural historian introduces Bhutan’s philosophy, connecting it with India’s shared spiritual roots.
    Welcome Dinner: Traditional Bhutanese cuisine accompanied by folk music and storytelling.

    Conference & Cultural Immersion (thimphu Sightseeing - Punakha)

    Leadership And Happiness (punakha Sightseeing - Paro)

    Morning (8:30am – 11:00am)
    Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, “The Palace of Great Happiness,” at the confluence of two rivers.
    Walk across Punakha Suspension Bridge, surrounded by serene valleys and farmlands.
    More sightseeing will be included if time permits
    Scenic drive to Paro via Dochula Pass (3,100m) — a breathtaking mountain viewpoint adorned with 108 chortens symbolizing peace and gratitude.

    Evening Conference (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM) in Paro

    Mindfulness And Future Vision (paro – Tigers Nest)

    Full-Day Excursion (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
    Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – a spiritual ascent to one of the most sacred and awe-inspiring monasteries in the Himalayas, symbolizing inner strength and perseverance.
    Midway lunch at Taktsang Cafeteria overlooking the Paro Valley.
    Return to the hotel by afternoon.
    Alternate Option:
    For guests unable to hike, a scenic drive to Chelela Pass (3,810m) offers panoramic mountain views and tranquil beauty.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARTICIPANTS AND ORGANIZERS

  • To ensure smooth coordination and timely government approval, participating organizations/participants are requested to confirm their interest at least 2 to 3 months in advance of the intended travel dates.
  • As per the Department of Tourism (DoTr), Bhutan’s MICE Guidelines, all official MICE events require prior approval and Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) waiver authorization, which must be sought through an approved Bhutanese tour operator.
  • This approval process takes a minimum of 4–5 weeks, and additional time is needed for documentation, participant profiling, and hotel coordination.
  • Early confirmation helps ensure priority venue booking, smooth visa facilitation (if applicable), and timely issuance of government clearance for the MICE event.
