Jaipur, (The Shining Pink City) the world famous capital of Rajasthan, is known for the splendid forts, vibrant and colourful markets and pure ethnic culture. You will be picked up from your preferred location or hotel in Delhi in a sophisticated car to begin visit to Jaipur. Delhi to Jaipur distance is 268 km which takes about 4.30 hours. Upon arrival we take a hotel. After some rest we begin Jaipur sightseeing.
Day 1 :
We see Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal, Birla Mandir and Chokhi Dhani. Back to hotel. Night rest.
Hawa Mahal: The most renowned landmark of Jaipur, the palace of winds was built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh, known as poet king. There are 953 small, knottily carved jharokhas or windows in the structure actually planned for the royal family to have a look at everyday life of the city.
Jantar Mantar: The word Jantar Mantar means ‘calculation instrument’. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh this unique structure is listed in UNESCO World Heritage list. It boasts of fourteen architectural astronomical instruments designed for time measurement, track cosmic bodies and study the orbits of the planets around the sun.
Jal Mahal: Built for royal duck shooting parties the Jal Mahal is a pretty palace in Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. It was built by Sawai Pratap Singh, the ruler of Jaipur from 1778 to 1803. It is considered as one of the most attractive architectural palace that was built with the Mughal and Rajputana styles of erection.
Birla Mandir: India’s famous business family, Birla family received a part of land from the Maharaja of Jaipur for a token of one rupee and they built this stunning temple. The temple is distinguished for the white marble assembly style. The birth anniversary of Lord Krishna is celebrated as a grand festival here.
Chokhi Dhani: This is a traditional village set up which we visit in the evening. We enjoy folk dance and music. After dinner we get back to hotel.
Day 2 :
Amber fort visit/ back to Delhi
Breakfast. We visit famous Amber fort.
Amber Fort: Amber (pronounced Amer) Fort is one of the most important destinations in Jaipur. It is a fascinating example of blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Its Seesh Mahal (mirror Palace) is globally renowned for its artistry in sparkling mirrors.
After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Delhi for drop at a preferred location.
