Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Leh Arrival

  Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Check in Hotel, and complete rest of the Day to avoid high altitude sickness. Even walking up the stairs of the hotel will make you breathless for the first Day. Overnight stay in Hotel.

• Day 2 : Leh Monasteries Tour

  After breakfast, full day excursion to various Monasteries / Gompas in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastery (19 Kms) and from there drive to Shey Monastery. After that, drive further to visit Hemis Monastery (40 Kms from Leh). Hemis Monastery is one of the famous Monasteries and is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Back to Leh in the evening and Overnight stay at Leh.

• Day 3 : Leh - Nubra- ( DISKIT & HUNDER) 130 KMS, 5 HOURS

  After early breakfast at the hotel departure for Nubra Valley with lunch box along. Stop en route and visit Disket and Hundar monastery. The valley is on the trade route from leh to Khangar via Samsar and Karakoram passes. Apart from unparraled trekking opportunities, the valley has several Buddhist Gompas. Visit Diskit Gompa which is 350 years old. Overnight stay in Camp.

• Day 4 : Nubra _Khardong La - Leh (130 KM, 5 HOURS)

  After breakfast at the camp, drive to Leh with lunch box along. En route stop at Khardungla Pass ( 5359 m ) - world's highest motorable pass. Khardong La is historically important as it lies on the major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Chinese Central Asia. About 10,000 horses and camels used to take the route annually. Continue drive to Leh. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the Day is free for shopping and independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 5 : Leh - Pangong Lake (5 - 6 Hrs)

  ToDay after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Chang-la (Pass) (17500ft)and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 - 5 times a Day. At evening enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake. Overnight at the Camp at Pangong Lake.

• Day 6 : Pangong Lake - Leh

  ToDay after breakfast, check out from the Camp & drive back to Leh visit Thiksay, Shey,Stok monasteries and Hanging bridge .Evening free for leisure & own activities. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 7 : Leh - Kargil

  In the morning, Drive to kargil enroute can visit Hall of fame, Magnetic hill, Patha sahib sangam and also visit the lunar landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery. Afterwards, proceed to Kargil. En-route visit the well-known monolithic rock -cut statue of Maitreya Buddha in Mulbekh village. On arriving in Kargil by evening, check-in your hotel for staying overnight.

• Day 8 : Kargil - Srinagar

  Today is the last day of the tour. After an early morning breakfast, begin driving to Srinagar. En-route, visit Drass- known as the second coldest place on earth, often called 'the Gateway to Ladakh', Kargil war memorial ,Tiger hill and tololing hill and Drive Zojila pass .After arriving in Srinagar, and Overnight in Hotel.

• Day 9 : Srinagar Sightseeing

  After Breakfast full day Srinagar Local Sightseeing, Mughal Garden, Pari Mahal and Shankra Chariya Temple, Evening Sikra Ride on Dal Lake Overnight stay in Houseboats.

• Day 10 : Airport Departure

  After Breakfast Check out hotel and drop to the Srinagar Airport.
